It's fixed now. After yesterday's latest update, the steps are:
1- Save your game without being in a scene (to avoid possible errors).
2- Reload that new save file.
You will know that you are not in any scene when you are able to see the side menu to fast forward in time.
Ensure you are using version 0.8.0f instead of 0.8.0, as your browser may be saving the cache.
If not, you can enter the game in incognito mode to prevent the cache from being saved.
