Allllllrighty!!!

Now that chapter 3 of Siren Song is FINALLY done, I can get back to working on New Year’s Day(e). I know a lot of you have been asking about it, and I wish I were more than one person so I could have been working on both titles simultaneously, but alas, I am but one man.


I honestly can’t wait. I’ve missed these characters so much. Granted, I’ve had the DLG story to help scratch that itch, but there’s nothing quite like watching your story come to life with the help of renders.


While I haven’t done any actual writing or rendering for the final chapter of NYD, that doesn’t mean I haven’t been planning how I’m going to approach the end of this project. I want to honor the story, my readers, and my characters and try to wrap this thing up in a dignified yet raunchy way. I guess I’ll really be testing the limits of my whole “obscenely wholesome” approach, because, damn…it’s gonna get crazy.


For those of you that missed it, 2023-2025 has been pretty horrible for me. I lost both of my parents, my brother almost died, lost my job, and a bunch of other crap, so… if I seemed distant or like I lost my motivation, or even if the last chapter of NYD seemed a little “off” that might be why.


But the good news is I am back, and feeling better than I have in a really long time. I’m still grieving the loss of my parents and I’m sure I will be for a long time, but I’m feeling better, and that’s what it’s all about, right?


Eve, Daye, Kaylee, Lily, and Chelsea all helped me through a really dark time, and now I can’t wait to repay them…in the best way I know how.


I meant by finishing the story well…what did you think I meant?


So, yeah. I am going to take a few days to celebrate the holidays and start the beginning of the end of New Year’s Day(e) on New Year’s Day.


But that doesn’t mean these characters are going away forever. I have tons of spin-off stories, one offs, holiday specials, etc. planned for Eve and the rest of the gang, so don’t get too sad about it.


Anyway, I’ll keep y’all posted on my progress. My hope is that I’ll complete this a lot faster than I did Chapter 3 of Siren Song, but we’ll see.

Buuuuut now I'm a little scared to turn out the lights at bedtime tonight. Here we are a few days before Christmas...but you posted a pic of the New Year's girl...dressed up for Valentines Day. Is Jack Skellington about to pop out of my closet? How about the one hiding under my bed - teeth ground sharp and eyes glowing red ??

If it's Daye that's hiding under my bed. She can have as sharp teeth and glowing eyes as she wants. Just saying.
Would probably glow purple, though.

Sorry to hear about the terrible year, kinda relatable that is here, but also good to hear your improving well.

Have missed the antics of the characters and indeed look forward to further releases. Your comment " But that doesn’t mean these characters are going away forever.
