I would like to create some NPC's for my game .
I looked in the game folder after unzipping it, but couldn't find the 'program' that enables one to create the NPC's .
I could have sworn it used to be included in that folder ?

Where does one find it now ?

Also, while I'm asking ;
Can one create a Futa/(Hermaphrodite) NPC yet ?
As-in, a female with cock & a vagina, (NOT a shemale !), that can impregnate the MC ?
OR, . . . Has that NOT yet, been supplied ?

The program that made custom NPC's doesn't come with the game, you need to get it from the discord.

You cannot create futas, the game only deals with males and females. Considering the glacial rate of updates, I suggest that unless you are prepared to wait for a century or two, you'd be best looking at other games if you want futas!

There should be a folder called "custom_npc_guides" in the same folder where the exe program is and as for futa ncps no (also your signature makes me sad I miss that game)

It doesn't tell you, it just said you paid it .**
(was expecting it to tell you what the cost would be, before you commit to it .)

Was thinking to take another lesson, but, not sure if we'll have the cash to cover it . . . so it'd be nice to know .

For future reference you can see the amount of cash you have on hand by clicking on the "Your Character Details" button and opening the "Status" tab when planning the week. In both of those cases you can go negative in cash.

I get an error when trying to load a custom npc that says:

[Exception while creating npc: java.lang.NullPointerException: Name is null]

There are no opposing traits or anything in the text file that says it would invalidate it. I can't figure out how to fix it.

That's a common issue actually. I think i remember last time, someone mentioned that the cause is the effects (boss, friend, partner). You have to fill it up.


I had that error too but, for me, I just opened my NPC up in the custom character creator and made changes there.

To become a manger you have to work in the sales job trainee sales manger is the next job after elite salesperson and too train skill management skill you have to go to seminars during the weekend which only unlock after being promoted to trainee sales manger

What do you need that isn't in the additional scenes/documentation folder? It's got examples, descriptions, and a complete listing of every API call available to custom scenes. Everything that is possible for a custom scene is described in those files.

I think as some one who wasnt familiar with coding - it is pretty hard to do so

However, if we have video tutorial / a mod application to do so - Such as the one from X Change life

it is definitely easier and should even help with the project grow quicker and make it more interesting

I'm not trying to be mean, but "I don't know anything about programming but I know exactly what tools would be useful" isn't the strongest argument. The XCL modding tools don't help you make new scenes, mechanics, actions, etc, just new player characters and bar girls - they basically just help you organize the media and tell the game where to find it after you load the mod. There are already NPC creators for Newlife, even though they're extremely easy to make in a text editor, and that's the equivalent.

Also, this is entirely theoretical as SO is never going to make any such tool and no one else works on Newlife scenes anymore.

it is too much words to read and to test out step by step for me.

But tools does help and encourage creativity.

X change life tools, it helps sort out folder - but imagine some one new wanted to try modding, but dont even know how to organize the media etc.

Something that always struck me odd about this game revolving around female dress up...

... why isn't there a shoe category? Seriously, why didn't the dev include them and with different styles?

... ironically, the foundations for this game could make an impressive sissification spinoff.

I mean, you probably have better odds of that happening than anything else. Technically you're already half way there with the gender bending route and it wouldn't surprise me if there is a demand for the player character to simply be a shemale. Less changes would need to be made to the gameplay and feminine point of view since there's already implemented anal. The character can still assume the role of a submissive with male partners, while there's the potential of things getting more interesting relationship wise with female partners, no strap on required. Makes me wonder if the dev has ever considered it.
