Right now only the sales job is coded. You can participate in dance competitions for $ but those are randomly received events... and you have to pay attention to see that one is available and select it... so that is not a necessarily guaranteed cashflow. You can get other "work" by befriending a sleazy male who will come up with the idea to shoot porn films with you (or a suitable other female victim)... but that only nets you a small amount of cash every in game month. There is also a random event for prostituting yourself if you own a computer, also there is now a new different prostitution event which is supposed to unlock a weekend prostitution activity - but I think it's bugged/broken. You could also marry a guy you can make agree to give you money and then become a housewife, but I am not completely certain what the requirements are for making that wedding vow available - also it's not necessary to be a housewife for your spouse to give you the cash but you can "roleplay" that as the reason for your "job" as homemaker.
There may be more ways to make $ in game that I am forgetting.
Huh that's really interesting, I've never seen that housewife vow, anyone got any sorts of idea which traits the guy needs to ask for that?
Also, the prostitution event triggers correctly with the bugfixed 0.b version.

I'm getting the same error when trying to download the latest 0.5.5b from both the sources in the OP and the mega link on page 85.
The vow I was speaking about is about him giving you money, not you pledging to be a housewife. The housewife part can happen regardless since it is an option if you are married and quit your job. As someone else stated, being a housewife may net you an "allowance" but i've never really paid much attention to that.
(EDIT: It is possible that when the option to become a housewife came into the game, the option to make your fiance vow to give you cash was removed.)

Thanks for the answer. Do you know which traits/personality the guys who asks for that usually has? I'm guessing misanthropic jerks ask for something like that, but I personally never seen a vow like that pop up with a combination of jerks/selfish guys with or without the misanthropic and/or cold-hearted traits in the previous versions at least.
About the bug, it should fire on the weekend event slot if you accept it the first time it fires, which for Newlife is quite common tbh. I downloaded it on the link provided on page 85, and it worked fine for me at least
Basically, I keep getting file path errors where the scene should trigger...
As for the traits to get that vow... I don't really remember... I do remember that the text involved has something to do with you complaining to your future husband about never seeming to have enough money and him reluctantly agreeing to give you $$$. However, I am relatively certain that cash on hand or whether or not you have a job has little to no bearing on it since I usually play with pretty much all the cheats on so I don't have to save up for purchases or (now that you can quit the job) even have to worry about working unless I'm trying for the work scene with the handyman or flirting with the still-married boss.
I don't think him being a jerk or selfish has to be a factor as I'm relatively certain I've gotten it with romantic guys. I am relatively certain that I have previously had the vow on playthroughs with a romantic fiance looking for the jerk friend scene...
Then again, I haven't seen it in a while so it is possible that it was phased out with the option to become a housewife.

Afaik asking for money during vows is available if you have the cunning trait. I had various playthroughs with different MCs and married very different NPCs, from jerk to romantic/caring. I usually pick Cunning to be able to cheat in card games, and the option to ask for money was always available. The MC's actual financial standing is no issue, I always pick the 25k cheat and have a steady income from working sales, yet the option is still there. So I think that's that.

It really depends on how much "control" you want. Newlife is pretty simple as you only deal with events that directly relate to sex scenes. Games like Accidental Woman is a bit more detail oriented but follow the same premise of Newlife. On the extreme side, as far as I know, is Girl Life. It is a QSP game and it also a"simulator" game but taken to eleven. It has you managing food, hygiene, sleep, etc (can mitigated with cheat options), and requires you to physically control your character to locations. There are alot of different kinks in that game and it uses real images. So it might be a bit overwhelming but you can get the hang of it.

It helps if you create your perfect male NPC, who is apt to like everything about your MC, then just meet him and play along. If you make your MC iron-willed, you will be able able to avoid all temptations and just pick the one
iirc, this can be a problem with windows 10 as changes when updating the OS can remove you from admin status. The best thing you can do is to check your updates and see if any windows updates corrupted your system files.

Well, I wanted to cuk someone, but in almost every new game all "nice" guys wasn't so nice in the end, so I created 2 males (with different looks):
nice man, but sterile
easy going guy, that only wanted to breed
And the final step: my girl was bitchy.
5 kids, not even once did he asked any questions. On "our" 6 kid he became supcisios, cuz there was no sex.
It was a pretty interesting experience.
