A newlife but with a male protagonist. Too much textual game with good concept but only female protagonist. The slice of life style is kinda good because it give a lot of possibilities

There's also the fact that Newlife is pretty easy to play and blow through content despite all the problems with rng and making characters have X characteristics to fire a scene, if you look at the "competition" it's either way more convoluted to do shit in and stuff is gated way harder, or it's stuck in bug hell(cough accidental woman cough)
I still think the best thing SO did with the game, was making it based on a week and simplifying actions, I hate the control every hour of every day thing that girl life and accidental woman do

5 years in....same job, same apartment, same sex positions. But now you can sit on the couch and make out with your SO. This is a microcosm of why a monopoly is a bad thing. Had Lame Handed Ostrich had even a scintilla of competition he would have folded and quit or actually competed and improved. Instead, he reaps his rewards. Only a matter of time, only a matter of time before someone with the code ability, the writing skills, and the ambition take his money away from him be making a female protagonist text lifesim like Newlife that doesn't suck.

Who is the worse one, the provider for giving out a shitty product or the consumer for purchasing and supporting said products excistance for this long? You cannot make this arguement friend. Is he a trashy dev? Sure. And they do say that as long as there is a market for it there will be products. There is a market here clearly then if he managed to make so much money for this long. However maybe with the development from his supporters or fans, maybe because the fans themselves never play anything else, the matter of fact is they keep supporting the "work". So I ask again, is the man that is taking advantage of stupidity at fault, or is the stupid man at fault for having no critical thinking?

Game is pretty much written by the community. It's a bit annoying to see the quality all over the place but would I'd like to shake the hand of the guy who wrote the sex system. He did an amazing job... too bad he is not getting the funds.

Every new update, this argument will repeat itself.
Whether you support or didnt support the game or the developer, nothing will change.
Because the game itself doesnt change much.

You wont feel like you lose any gameplay experience.
What will you lose? A little flavor in text, a little bugfix, ability to create porn etc. Not much I would say. As they doesnt really change the gameplay.
The event in the game is hard to trigger. For example boyfriend jerk friend event, your boyfriend need to not have doormat or like to share personality. Unless you create your boyfriend with npc creator(or just do it manually), you have like 25% chance to trigger it one random boyfriend.
Other event are the same. Hard to trigger because the requirement usually involve u replaying the whole thing. But the event itself is scarce.
I would say just abandon all hope and dream for this game as it already "complete" in a sense that it never meant to be complete in the first place. Just a money milking scheme.
Whether it the developer fault or whether it the supporter fault, that's another story.

Being sarcastic about a goldbricking dev is not lacking critical thinking. It is having fun at his expense among a forum crowd who mostly enjoys trashing him. The sad fact is he would make more money had he actually put work into it. Look at Eva Kiss, put work into a VN with traceover images and is lauded both with financial support and forum accolades. Now Our Red String has a mighty backwind to its development because a dev simply put in the work.
Save your contrarian forum banter for someone who cares. What is worse, the dev who milks his crowd or the person who comes to a forum to defend him?

Not supporting the dude, no. Instead I am saying I would do the exact same thing if I were in his place. Why do better when you can attain what you want with no sweat? We are all after all using this forum to get access to games, tiers, benefits, for free. I just know that I am scum.

Background changes the initial stats, new jobs were voted as a second thing after pregnancy content so it's possible we might live long enough to see them coming.
