Thats basically what the game is, yea. You don't instantly become a bimbo, though. You can be a manly or girly as a girl according to your customizations. Theres also a "female start" in which you have never been a guy at all, if you're not into the gender bender stuff.

Dev figured out how to get paid and let others do the work for him. Pretty genius if you ask me. Sad if you're paying to support the practice. From my understanding dev didn't write the new scene. Put that into perspective.

It has taken considerable effort to convice him to even add anal to most scenes, but if you look at his "wont ever be in game" list pretty much every common fetish of this day is in there. Also, he keeps promising F/F content, yet also has yet to deliver on this at all.
I played it a bit when he first started, but i grows old real fast due to the limited content and slow progress.

You got it right, he didn't. Custom scene is made for people who want to "submit their ideas to the game". He also had a post explaining that if you made a custom scene for his game and it got accepted, you would be forfeiting any rights over it to him and to the game.

Well, not really. I mean most people probably expect vanilla fuck out of those games. To me its kind of like watching vanilla porn, doesn't matter if the protag of the movie is woman or a dude, they're likely to find someone of the opposite sex to fuck. That being said its games, so you'd expect it to have more customization/variations. I guess in the end people will make what sells and ignore the rest.

I support the intiative, though I must say: the way custom scenes work and the way many ideas just don't work in new life (as the necessary functionalities are not implemented yet or they are not supported), this might not be interesting to some people who are looking for specific fetishes and custom adventures in new life. Splendid him self said this in one of the manuals or blog posts.
I looked at splendid's work more closely (khmmm, decompiled it) and his dev. road map and what I've seen made me call off my patreon support, seeing how long it will take for him to deliver on his promises.
Anyways,
I wish all the success and fun to the people who decide to write scenes for newlife. I'm sure a couple of scenes that Splendidostrich will allow in his game will work fine, other than that... well... you'll find out

I see that people think the dev is male, but based on some comments from SO and others and the nature of the game, my stance is that "he" is female. Precisely, a female who never had (or suffered a bad experience from) anal.

If i understood correctly, you can not load multiple custom scenes to spice up the game. You can put in only one because it is made for testing, and the scene will be included if dev likes it.
