Wow this is game is straight up complete dogshit. Unless there is something im missing thats incredibly important? Did I select some Impossible difficulty? Every encounter is essentially impossible to win normally and everything you have is completely useless.
Am I supposed to just do 50 "runs" where I retreat reseting back to the start just to build up a couple useable cards?
Like the art is phenomonal and I even like the writing but everything else is unplayable trash.

there is nothing you are missing. This game is genuinely harder than games that try to screw you over to make it hard I imagine nobody bothered to playtest through the entire thing so its just an unbalanced mess the game provided I think 4? card archetypes and none of them really have any good combos meanwhile every card an enemy draws tends to combo into another I think some people have posted good combos to win but the problem is the just sudden difficulty you have really no time to even get any cards leading your only available option(s) be... save scumming or using cheat engine
I genuinely don't think anybody playtested anything besides at best booting it up to see if it worked because the card balance is so fucked in this game
So in a way to actually see content I just spammed corruption cards to see the demon scenes and move on. Turns out that this is litterally the intended way of playing. When you "complete" the game through even a BAD END you can restart from the beginning with all your same cards/deck.
Yea its still extremely bad design.
