To those who losing badly and can't figure out how to play:

1 x Rest++
4 x Work hard+
3 x Check your options+ (SPEND)
12x Work ethics++ (SPEND)

20 cards full deck to focus on losing, just draw cards using an ally and check your options to use all your SPEND cards in 2-3 turns.
Now you are left with just 5 cards which will be spawned every turn and give you +27x4 work for 20 energy, you can add 100 energy for 35 work and just pass the turns like this.
Every iteration you can have around 1000 energy for checking events and 1000+ work to increase you money or blackmail.

You can literally 0 to 1000 your glory if just add 2 more cards (Generous+/Generous++) to change you strategy to winning one and finish the game in just 1 turn.
It is that easy.

Feel free to adjust the deck to your own preferred sexual cards or control how much you win every iteration and just skip for the scenes.

Because some of her cards get stronger as a result of your training, try to work on only one tree at a time. They'll revert to debuffs once you cross a certain threshold. Keep in mind that some of her cards that aren't tied to any tree can get stronger too and don't ever go down, like hiring more interns.

I always love the fact that forcing Cassandra to wear more revealing clothes actually helped her at first. It makes sense that a sexier but still professional dress code is able to attract more viewers. Now that I looked at it again though, the art between Sophisticated and Revealing Appearance seems to be too similar for my taste. And Cassandra starting with flats I always find to be a bit strange even with her backstory as newswomen always seem to wear heels. Personally I would make her start with 1 inch/2.5 cm Kitten heels and gradually force her to wear 6 inches/15 cm or more Stripper heels.

Will be interesting to see what the refresh brings, aside from balance/smoothing out changes.
Hopefully lots of new content like the Emily stuff for 1.01

The deets for News desk:

- New splash screen.

- "FreshMeat" event now has a chance to succeed without the Max ally.

- Changed the "risky business" card's odds. All stages are now 40% win, 60 lose.

- Rest event now gives a flat 20 energy.

- Lowered the energy gains in town. It was too easy to go forever. Balanced the events. Removing from some and adding to others.

- Boosted the granny event in the gym. Lowered the energy cost from 30 to 25 and gives an additional 5 money.

- Lowered the "Act like a bimbo" card’s blackmail cost.

- Upped the "*ss grab++" card’s cost by 5.

- Removed the energy cost of the "Walk of shame+" and "Walk of shame++" cards. Upped the blackmail cost of "Walk of shame+" by 5.

- Adjusted the "Rumors" card’s cost and effectiveness. A bit cheaper and less impact as it was too easy to boost the influence hit.

- After the Cassandra event where she apologizes to Max, his ally card changes from removing 10 of her glory to giving you 30 money.

- Chad can now be tapped infinitely for Casandra’s “intern” card purposes.

- Added Emily events in town. First, they will be bad but when you start to tame her personally, they will turn into the best events.

Oh, so it's just like some playtuning adjustments? That's not as exciting, I thought it was gonna be a complete overhaul. The Emily events in town is the only thing that really sounds new.

"Lowered the energy gains in town. It was too easy to go forever," almost sounds like a negative change to me, because that was my main rebuttal to people who said the game is too hard. I agree it was very easy to go on forever in town after a certain point, but that balances out how hard the card game is (going forever in town gives you more resources to stay afloat in the card game), and it's also not "easy" in the sense that you have to spend a lot of IRL time grinding away at it.

I guess I'll stick with 1.0, but I really wish there was some way to mod this change.
