Don't worry, he uploaded something there but since I'm only a Patreon basic, it's the poses package, I don't know if he uploaded the video

Unfrozen 2 up-scaled to and file size reduced to lossless 4k(uncompressed was 15gigs lol.. it's under 4gb now).. I'm doing lossless from now on.. if it gets to be too much I'll cut it back like the last up-scales.

P.S. Sorry I meant it's added to my archive.. If someone wants to grab it and make mirrors that's up to you guys.

Hello, Redsheep6, and thank you for your message.

Indeed, there is a difference between

posting quite old stuff, where there is no real harm done (even though that's not completely 'by the book', since the stuff is NickCockman's and NickCockman's only to decide whether it is released), the more so if these are works not avalaible even on Patreon anymore,

and posting them with so short a time since their release that some may find it pointless to pledge on his Patreon with APPARENTLY no real gain from having to contribute financially (even though, in fact, there is a WORLD of a difference between pledging on Patreon to the benefit of NickCockman and getting his work through other channels : this is the difference between him having an incentive, both financial and moral, to pursue his efforts into producing new, more refined, enjoyable content and, on the other hand, having him throwing the towel because he finds that it's not worth the effort to put so much time into something that gets so little recognition).

And that's where we reach your other point, Redsheep6 : NickCockman stopping his NM releases. He had no obligation to release his work freely on NM in the first place. I am not 'in his head', but I think it's a safe bet to consider that his releasing on NM served several purposes : to have him more widely known so as to get more pledges on Patreon, to get more useful and heartening feedbacks from fans, to deter them from downloading his works elsewhere thus providing illegitimate ad revenues to leakers... These are possible reasons that come to my mind, but, once again, I'm not him so I can't say for sure these were his motives for releasing on NM, beside the fact that there were probably more of them, even if less decisive.

Anyway, the implicit incentive for him was to get at least moral support from downloaders on NM.

But, if you read some of the posts and witness the 'thumbs down' counter on NM, you'll notice good guys (fortunately) doing their part, but 'not so good ones' being more than unkind to him, particularly when he experienced his burn-out.

That's why I'm sad (if not angry) when I read cheap criticism (confining to libel) regarding NickCockman from people neither contributing morally nor financially to his efforts. They DO bring harm not only to NickCockman but to his fans as well. For instance, when the links on 'Mega' were made dead 'thanks' to one particular a...h... (probably thinking himself very witty by thus doing), not only did NickCockman waste time on replacing them with an alternative service, but it meant all the former 'Mega' links pledgers on Patreon had gotten so far, so as get extra contents, were dead as well. And I believe it's not necessary to highlight the fact that not only was such a deed morally unjustifiable but it was stupid as well since it meant less time spent by NickCockman on producing new content, not mentionning the effect on his motivation to do so when unfairly subjected to such a dirty trick. 'Stupid' because harming NickCockman when you enjoy (or, at least, benefit from) his work is just like shooting yourself in a foot (after randomly shooting on unknown passers-by).

I wouldn't be here, on F95Zone, wouldn't I appreciate getting a free access to various works. This way, I am able to discover new talents and when it's so, I more than happily give them the little support I can by pledging to their Patreon or purchasing their work wherever it's legitimally put for sale, hoping we are numerous enough to act likewise so as to have the author pursuing his efforts.

So I'm not here preaching. But I'm revolted when witnessing someone trying to dig a hole in the bottom of the vessel on which we're all sailing...

And, of course, I don't mean you, Redsheep6 : on the contrary, I thank you for giving me this opportunity to discuss this relevant issue of NM, which is the point of a forum, and I wish you a nice week-end.

I thank you for these long and insightful posts. I can tell you're a good guy that considers the struggles of the artist.

As an animator myself, reading these posts really demotivates me to start producing animation myself and posting on Patreon in the hopes of finding enthusiastic supporters and some extra money. It's not just inpatient and entitled fans (most of whom don't pay) immediately posting new releases, it's sabotage by bad actors. So much headache.

I now have a new appreciation for Nick Cockman and other indy animators creating original content and trying to make a decent profit from their labors. I think I'll renew my subscription to him and a couple of other creators I respect. Thanks!

BTW, what is "NM". I know of Rule34, NewGrounds, Slushe, but I don't recognize this video sharing site abbreviation.
