Nick is asking not to share his content.
Nick doesn't realize That piracy is inevitable and while it is totally understandable to protect your intellectual property there is such a thing as too far. That pompous whiny post about how he would (Paraphrasing for ridiculousness) *take his ball and go home, punishing all subscribers* was proof.
Honestly I contribute to a few artists myself and I would to him as well if:
1.) His pricing better reflected the "work" put in... I enjoy his stuff but it is still modified game assets from a nearly decade old game. The cost being a retail type model is flat out ridiculous. $8 per "Movie"? Hell we pay about the same for a commercially produced network or streaming service movie.
2.) He acted like a reasonable man and thought before lashing out. That tantrum he decided to throw and lash out at patrons was F'ing stupid... Not only is he not gonna be able to prevent every leak but many times a leak like that drums up MORE patrons. If I'm not mistaken when the last leak occurred he had not reached his goal on Patreon and he had less patrons. His whiny fit was ridiculous since all in all I pretty sure the leak actually benefitted him more than it hurt. He wouldn't even have to say it publicly (in fact probably shouldn't). But simply acting more reserved and maybe slightly appreciative to patrons would be enough for me to want to contribute.
No I Simply do not have any respect for the childish tantrums and self important or overvalued attitudes.
