I understand why Cockman did it ... I just question the advisability, "long-term". In the end, the "buzz" surrounding his work will fade among fandom and he'll become just another footnote of animators who shot themselves in the foot. I assume that buzz from fans feeds into the excitement about his work, which could equal new subscribers ... in the long term, this could hurt him financially. He should release his videos from tracking after a certain point ... say three of more months, after the initial excitement dies down and he's filled his coffers. We don't need his stuff immediately.
Still, the passed couple of years, I've found his videos rather ... "predictable" ... with very little imagination behind his stories. The models all look the same, though with different hair and clothing ... not much else, or moderately exciting ... IMHO.
I've collected most of his works over the years, so the fact he's scrubbing a lot of his older titles is of little consequence and seems counter-productive at best. There are much more compelling TK17 artists out there, whose work is more interesting and not so "mundane".
I wish him well, and hope he achieves his goals. Still, it's a shame it came to this
