I'm assuming the "Ronin boss" is the dude with the katana, right? People reported a few pages back, that if you're using one of the saves that are already included in the download, then he gets bugged, the music doesn't stop and you can't save Suzune (the girl with the pink katana). If that's the case then the solution is to simply not use the included save file, and make a new save. Here's the link to a post of someone talking about the bug, if you want to confirm if you've encountered the same bug.

• Only weapons in the BigSword and Hammer category are animated,
• Moving, dashing, jumping,
• Attack, Block, Parry, jump attack,
• Drink potion,
• Guns (small, medium, long gun, and Canon),
• Downed state animation, but sex scenes is still normal Aradia,
• Pleasure (horny) stunned state,

The Flaws:

• Sounds are original, not customized,
• Only weapons in the BigSword and Hammer category are animated,
• No Spells are animated,
• Weapon silhouette (the white slash when attacking) is still there
