The poll was on their discord, they did not do one exclusively for patreon.
Edit: But yes, the majority of the people that voted, voted for the trashy disembowell models.

Oh, I didn't know there are multiple sets of disembowell models - Just googled disembowell FNAF models and those were what I found.
Okay, did some digging in their discord - Looks like the poll is still running, with the options
I think the 2nd reason is a fair enough one for changing the models, if they're hard to pose well then that can be a dealbreaker when animations are so important, but the 1st and 3rd reasons are really silly. What's the point of switching to creepier models if all the sex appeal is lost in the process, and why should one other game using these models matter? Especially when there are way more games using the other style of animatronics.
For reference, here are the pics they included in the discord for what the "disembowell-esque" models and "unique" models would look like. Neither are as bad as the earlier disembowell pic I posted, but the Cally3d models are still leagues ahead of both of them.

Yikes. Kinda lost all faith for this game now porn-wise after seeing all the votes on "Disembowell". I get why they're changing it, but not every model in the 2 other options look good. You either get a shitty chica/foxy (Disembowell) or a shitty bonnie/freddy (Unique). The Cally3D models worked fine enough for the horror aspect while keeping the porn aspect really good. Gonna have to wait and see how the gameplay works out after version 0.4, which will take awhile considering the time between this poll and 0.3 was >2 months.
It seems like a big part of the reason the poll's so tilted in favor of the non-cally3d models is because of the way the dev's phrasing the poll - seems like even if Cally3d won votes, they still don't want to work with them any more. So a lot of people are effectively just voting between 1 and 2, or people who want the Cally3d models are *also* voting for which of the other 2 sets they'd prefer. Not a good way to run a poll ngl.

So they poisoned the well and then made a poll on it? Why even have a poll to begin with if you're going to do that lol. Spineless. Well either way, Fnaf's fanbase is going to be full of furries so it makes sense the anime model base would lose out here in favor of more mannequin antro characters, just based on the parody recognition alone.

Alright, first I don't know if this dev is a genius or a moron....but they are really good at manipulation. This post of theirs reeks of lies, contradictions, ignorance and illusion of choice. To start with their reasons for changing.
1 - Too cartoonish and too cute anime like. Really. Do you realize just how much horror themed anime there is that stars cutesy looking characters? That gap between how they look and what they do is what gives impact to the horror. A horrific thing doing horrific stuff just seem par the course. But them looking off for the environment they wish to use, that's an objective thing so can't comment on that.....until we see the environment of course.
2 - Sorry but no, that's just a matter of skill. Though they have less H scenes, Fap Night shows how well it can look even with a free camera. They should show us what their scenes look like in a free camera before making such a claim and for the love of God don't make the claim AFTER someone has already proven it false. Well, it works for the ignorant which seems to be their aim.
3 - This one is the boldest of lies so far. There's a total of 3 projects using these models, one is this one and another is a SFW remake of FNIA. So in reality there is just one other H game using these models (that I know of). HOWEVER they claim to want to be unique yet there are more projects using the Disembowell models and the "unique" ones just look bad....
Now the final thing they say before the poll just makes the poll pointless, it pretty much says "Even if every single one of you choose 3, we're still not going to use it. And if you choose 4, we're gonna pick something other than 3." So why the hell is it even a choice on the poll!? To gauge how many of your fans gonna peace out once you go with 1 or 2?
Yeah, I'm probably gonna just keep this update and then forget about the game. It doesn't seem like it'll be heading into a direction I want to give time to. Now let me point out that I am playing a game that uses the Disembowell models and the game itself isn't that bad but part of the reason I even play this game is for the models. So no models, it takes a huge dive to my desire to continue playing. And I just can't trust a dev who would try and manipulate his audience.

Hard to say whether them ignoring the poll results is a net positive, considering they're about equal in terms of visual appeal. But hilarious that the dev decided to ignore the result even when one of the 'real' options was winning.

Mixed feelings on this.
On one end, I'm laughing at how pointless the poll was in the first place and wonder if their supporters who voted are pissed off.
On the other end, more devs need to just do what they want over what fans want.

been wondering what's wrong with the new file version make shure to manually change the new file to a .zip file its a .4 file for some reason other than that works fine
The "unique" models are basically just a set of fnaf models made by Psycho-John. Honestly, I think the dev should consider investing some of the money to commission their own custom models to go for what he wants and if we end up with Agony-styled FNAF I won't be surprised.
I understand why he wants to go away from the Cally3D/CryptiaCurves models from a technical perspective. If you ever used those for VRChat, you realize that they do not have any detailed NSFW parts modelled and are mostly textures which sucks for any kind of zoomed up views unless you want models clipping into one another. This is why In Heat/Fap Nights animations also look a bit weird as they have to work around that.
