Multi prot... Never again. Too many disappointments and cuck situations in previous games. Anyway, I got the feeling that there were too many red flags in this one and some things started to smell bad. I'm running away.

Fair sentiments here. We’ve played our fair share of games that turned out to be disappointments too. It would be cheating the story to not have two protagonists though, again no spoilers, but this won’t be what you guys think.

Yeah exactly I just don't trust multiple protagonist games anymore. I have seen this trop before. Multiple protagonist , promising a great story no porn . That only works in comics .

Are there any other bugs you guys noticed so I can knock it out in one go?
Each protagonist will have their own dynamic relationships and scenes btw. Sex scenes are coming in the very next update (less than 2 weeks away). There are certain topics that will be discussed in this game that’s vital to be heard from two different perspectives though.
Also feel like there’s just not enough games with black people, but we know people have their preferences so we’ve included both. I’m willing to answer any questions you guys have regarding the multiple protagonists but a lot will be addressed once the next update releases.

So, do you mean that both protagonists have their own women, i.e. no woman in the game fucks both protagonists? So basically, that would be two completely different games in one package.
Because if any woman fucks both of them, then the game is ruined for many players. At that point you can write sharing tag in the list or even worse NTR. At that point also about 90% of the players will leave the game. So romance players and NTR haters. What all of those have in common is that none of them tolerate NTR, Sharing, or in short another man with a woman.
For that very reason, when there's always some woman banging both protagonists, I never touch multi prot games again.

The primary reason for multiple protagonists is to tell the story from both of their perspectives. For example, there could be a very important scene that both characters are involved in, but it’s vital to tell how they both led to that very point.
Think GTA5 with the multiple protagonists, or maybe even the Power (Ghost and Tommy) series if you’re into that. The audience simply will have the choice on who they want to play the game as the story progresses. They have their own families, their own women, their own friends, and most importantly traits that the players will build over time to influence direction. Anything more is what the story may lead to and player choice. I really don’t wanna be a dick and just shit on other games but again lol, I know exactly what you’re talking about man and this isn’t that.
Perhaps wait a few updates and give it a try to see what you think then?

Don't confuse things any further. GTA is not a fucking porn game like we're talking about. We're talking about whether there are any sluts in the game who fuck both protagonists. That's the main part that's ruined every multi-prot game I've ever played here. So my trust in these games and devs is severely negative. (Not the fact that devs make these games, but the fact that some devs have lied to the face of the players here. They've claimed that shitty content (NTR, Sharing, Lesbian etc) won't be in the game, but after a while, that stuff is in the game, even though the dev promised otherwise a while ago.)

OK, so 2 completely different MCs in this game. I wondered why it asked me twice about names. So, avoid future confusion, I just named the Jake guy Jen after yours truly, and left Dru's name all alone. There, that fixed that.

OK. Then tell me straight whether some bitch is fucking both characters or not. So let's cut the bullshit here. If you claim that none of them fuck both and yet in the game they do, then you belong to the same group I was just talking about.
Or are you afraid of losing almost all of your audience by telling it like it is. BUT if you do as I just wrote a moment ago, then you will lose all not just some of those players and the game title will have an abandoned tag when players abandon the game when the dev is a liar. It's been seen here before. Being upfront about what is and will be in the game is the best solution of all. One way to do that is to tell future tags, so players can immediately make decisions. Transparency is the most important thing here, that you tell directly what will be in the game. If players get surprise shit on the screen, you're going to have a lot of shit on your plate that you'll have to shovel with a good appetite. So you have to appreciate the audience you have. One tip: don't try to mix things up that don't mix up.

You’re playing a game with strippers in it. Strippers will behave like strippers unless convinced otherwise by players. As far as actual romantic relationships and characters like Charlotte, no. They’re exclusive to each character (each character has their own women like stated before). I’ve entertained you for as much as I can without spoiling the story so lol, play it or don’t.

It's a pretty good start, but the idea of having two characters is a pretty risky business. It is necessary that both characters are interesting to the player, and it will be difficult to do this. Moreover, when you give names to the characters, the black hero is offered to simply give a name, and the white character your name. I.e., the narrative will go more from the white hero. You can say that this is a trifle, but in the little things lies the meaning.
I also looked at the game code, and it is written carelessly. Instead of the usual "Charm +=1" (example), we have "call jakecharm_increased from _call_jakecharm_increased". Many people like to integrate Walkthroughs into the game, or use 0x52 to select the answer. This kind of code complicates things. I also recommend (it will be even more convenient in the future) to make a separate rpy file with the code for both heroes, and not to register it in one script.rpy. You can write code together here.

Thanks for the feedback! This version is strictly a demo and the actual game is an entirely different Renpy project with separate scripts. It’s a very bare bone demo (our very first attempt) but we wanted to get something out to get feedback.

I'll probably keep watching this one, even with whatever is going on with all the other dudes, but as a meticulous save-keeper, this demo walls me. 
Hopefully it's certainly fixed in the next version.
Edit: Okay, demo was over like ten seconds later. The world desperately needs more gigathicc/hyper butts, so I really want this to succeed, regardless of any current or planned tags.

multiple protags game damn near always end in failure especially if you have two males. i can think of maybe one exception and that was because you can choose who's story to follow and each characters choices can can make it to where it wouldn't be the same if we chose the other character.
strangely the only multiple protag games that do good are swinger/ntr games.(male and female protag games)
there was another game where devs tried doing two male protags that was more story suspense/drama type game then sex but players had a hard time caring about immersing themselves into two playable characters in the end devs abandoned that cause it simple doesn't work.
that being said my main lack of interest is the missing harem tag.
i sort of want to ask if we focus on one character getting all the girls is it possible? i very rarely do multiple playthroughs as well so not even sure i would do the other character if given the chance. i definitely would prefer each character get his own game.
how often is voyeur content going to appear cause watching other people getting it on is annoying in vns?
i agree black MC is rare and happy to see he isnt used as an NTR character this time around.
but yeah for me having them both in the same game is simply - i want the main character i use to get all the action and avoid the secondary character cause it'll just feel voyeurism to me.

personally if we need multiple points of view to see a story in its completion i feel like "Seath Black" dev of "Blackheart hotel" or the "Blackheart universe games" did it best. Get multiple points of view from different characters without it ever being multiple protag combined with seeing the events of one game in another game where a supporting character in one game is the Main MC in his own game.
in this case this game could tell the story of one dude while the other guy simply shows up as a supporting character. but his story is told in his own game.
as it is right now i simply wouldn't care about the secondary character.
and just to be clear so far im not offended by anything in the game. just annoyed at best. dont need to throw in random people fucking if its not needed for example.
i also know this isnt a sex sex sex game. but these are my thoughts hoping its a story with a good amount of sex weaved in together.
