Hmm, pretty sure I remember this dev's previous stuff and the games were grindy as fuck. To anyone who's played this, is the pacing reasonable this time or does every new area require you to level grind for 30 minutes in order to proceed?
It's not so bad this time, you definitely don't need to grind if you equip the experience passive you find in level 3 (I think?). Beat it in a sitting today on standard mode in 6 hours or so, and I spent a lot of time trying to find secrets. The beginning is probably the hardest part, but once you find the money and experience passive, the game's difficulty kinda becomes a joke. Make sure to beat the gladiator miniboss on level 1 after you beat the dungeon to get the Power buff unless you wanna spend 30 minutes in each combat, probably consider picking up Fade from the shop too.
