Finally found a game that conflicts with the universal transparent text box mod.

I finally got around to looking into this. There are two versions on the mod's thread. It seems only the previous version (v2.4.12) works. I am unable to get it working with the latest version (v2.6.3) without editing the mod's files. I tried editing some stuff that is related in my gui script, but can't seem to find the underlying issue. I'll continue trying some stuff out when I get the chance though.
This is making me want to revamp the whole look of the game cause the mod's way of drawing text looks soo good.

. This version has all of the "important" images in jpg format to comply with itch's the size limit. I uploaded there to have another way of people to support the development until I get approved by SubscribeStar. If I get approved by SubscribeStar... I can also get rejected, we'll see.
Right now, the versions with the most quality are on google drive and mega, but if you are feeling generous or just like the project well enough, do check out the itch.io store page. The game is still free, but you're able to drop a few bucks on a one time donation.

I'm kind of scrambling to get on stable footing again. All of this Patreon/SubscribeStar shit is making me reconsider doing realistic AI generation for use in games. I am definitely going to finish all of the content I have already planned for the game, but after that I really just might switch to doing stylized AI gens. I can provide proof that no deepfakes were made, but the platforms don't really care. Waiting to see if SubscribeStar allows me to operate on their platform.

oops, then i have learned the wrong programming language the last 4 years
renpy is not so far then python itself and it looks like here is a classification missing in the script and a little bit confusing with the framework elder/child heredity for exiting classes and definitions..

It's great for what it's made, but shit starts happening when it loses it's memory references (any time any changes are made in the script). When I make changes to the logic or text the game ceases to be able to reference anything relating to classes.

I use a 1.5 realistic model I got on Civitai. I also developed my own workflow of generating and further refining the image to get the quality I get.
