The truth is that 99.99% of these morons commenting about it online have never even played No Mercy. Same goes for the organizations trying to "fight" it - they've never played it either. And those politicians making all that noise? They've definitely never played No Mercy.

This game barely contains any violence at all, and the "rape" content is more about blackmail than using force, but how could they know that since they've never actually played the game xD

But honestly, it wouldn't make any difference because once something gets publicity and some random "Karen" who never watches porn hears about any fetish content, she completely loses it. If someone told her to freak out about people being murdered in GTA, she'd be screaming about that too.

This whole Steam battle was pointless because politicians are just as clueless and don't understand a thing. They just parrot whatever they're told while trying to get in the spotlight, so the game was going to disappear from Steam sooner or later. They don't understand how the internet works either, or that these organizations actually did 10,000 times more harm by drawing kids' attention to it - they're the reason it's now all over TikTok and Instagram with zero age verification.

Development on No Mercy hasn't stopped. More updates are coming.

And honestly, I'd recommend every adult game developer to slightly tweak their game description and anonymously report themselves to these organizations. It's free advertising - these people are too stupid to ever figure that out.

The whole controversy was because of the game's description. It was really dark because it was designed to grab attention. But it barely related to what you actually did in the game
What to say except...

Lol "how did steam approve this?" Goes to show you that people are just ignorant until someone on social media starts talking to them about something.

In Desert Stalker you beat up a girl and piss in her mouth and that's on Steam.

At first when I actually saw someone talking about this I was like "oh that's wild." But then I was like "oh wait, this is probably on F95."

They did and have. I guess you missed all the news about them trying to ban it, and them having court battles. Must have been before your time....

It has been removed/banned from Steam now in some places.

when does part 2 release?
Don't use the outdated mod so you can play the rest of the game.

Let's be honest, I have no problem with the game (i played 3 time), but what did you expect? Classic porn is being slammed or even banned by many civil and political people, video games are being portrayed as dangerous by certain people or politicians for decades.
You're making a porn game... dude...
Then, with all the feminist/woke movements fighting pro-male porn that ban categories like rape, forced, abuse, manipulation, and blackmail, you're making a game with this kind of category.

For me, your only mistake was putting it on Steam, even if Steam displays porn games on its platform, they don't do it for the love of video games, but because it makes money.
On the other hand, at the slightest bad publicity for Steam because of a non-porn game, they remove it from the platform, so imagine an adult game.
I don't know if you lost your Patreon page because of the bad publicity of putting it on Steam but if so I wouldn't be surprised, too many devs want their games on Steam for the sake of profit without thinking about the consequences, plus we know that taking an update of a game requires each time additional efforts to comply with the rule is requested from Steam which requires time and lengthens the time of updates.

I am totally against seeing porn games on Steam, not only because there shouldn't be a porn category on Steam, but especially because it always lengthens each update, not to mention the potential problems that this can cause.
There's enough money to be made between Patreon, Subscribstar, Itchio to need Steam and their problem.

Thank you for confirming you will release more updates! My only concern is that I have the game on steam so I wonder if it will also receive 1.1 update,Dark DLC(hopefully a NTR focused DLC ;) ) or whatever update you have planned since I can see Itch.io already has 1.03a update which Steam does not.

I bought the game on Steam and enjoyed it. I don't see what all the fuss is about, there is way worse it movies.
Glad to hear updates will continue even if I have to switch platforms to play. Looking forward to more like this.

Let's be honest

For me, your only mistake was putting it on Steam, even if Steam displays porn games on its platform, they don't do it for the love of video games, but because it makes money.
On the other hand, at the slightest bad publicity for Steam because of a non-porn game, they remove it from the platform, so imagine an adult game.

Let's be honest, Steam doesn't care and Steam didn't care about this content, since its HUMAN moderation team approved the game with all its content. Steam was never going to ban or remove the game.

And Patreon, let's see here, Patreon doesn't want incest, rape, blackmail, oops this game as all 3. I'm not sure how it flew under Patreon's radar this whole time, it's obvious someone reported the game, or Patreon seen the news with the words "Patreon" in the article.

I am totally against seeing porn games on Steam, not only because there shouldn't be a porn category on Steam, but especially because it always lengthens each update, not to mention the potential problems that this can cause.
There's enough money to be made between Patreon, Subscribstar, Itchio to need Steam and their problem.
Why aren't you against seeing games where people are constantly running around murdering people? Eh, that's a lot worse than seeing some fucking porn, and there are a lot worse games on Steam that are not porn. Since when did seeing tits and people have sex become so taboo. It's okay for kids to go around murdering people, but god forbib they see a tit or sex....
