Hey everyone! If we’d known the game would blow up like this, we’d have made it better—and maybe a bit longer too... ;-)
For those of you who are new here, you’ve probably noticed while playing that the game isn’t at all what it’s been made out to be online (spoiler: it’s not a 'rape simulator'). There’s very little of that shocking brutality, and no "rapes" involving a sister (who doesn’t exist) or an aunt (who actually flirts with the main character). It’d be nice if people actually played the game before making public statements - but we don’t expect any fact-checking from lousy journalism or content creators.
As for the future of Zerat Games and No Mercy, we won’t be commenting on that for now. We do believe that adult games have gained more attention and new players. Valve (Big respect) and Itch.io are probably seeing a spike in traffic too—and that’s great, because games don’t hurt anyone.

Thanks for the great game!
I think the people who found all 'those horrors' in the game just skipped through the whole story/plot, only looking at the pictures because the white text blended into the white background, so they couldn't read anything xD

The game is a Huge success actually. With how much popularity it gained, it benefited on our AVN Community it opened doors for those who doesn't know AVN exist and let us welcome them. Let those loud 1% bark

I think what bothered me the most about this game was that the MC was a massive coward in the end, when they got discovered by the dad.

this could also backfire with more "eyes" to look upon VN and trying to restrict it by the gov (like UK parlament have been speaking about this particular game)
I'll never understand how people get worked up over fiction to this extend. to name an extreme: there are people letting a book, written by a human being, dictate their entire life (the bible etc.) with complex themes. there is the "hear me out" section in libraries and book stores for horny women that'd like to get fucked by some mythological beast (werewolf, vampire, anything under the sun). and let's not forget the parents that thought pokemon cards in the nineties were satanic. what I'm trying to get to here is simple: don't listen to anyone if you believe in your work. it doesn't matter if it's a romance novel, shonen, seinen, horror story, whatever it is, all that matters at the end of the day, is the engagement with your product and the sales numbers to keep the show rolling. we even have the topic of rape in theatrical movies. it's not like it's something new or different.
When the average person is told about the existence of rape porn he would be taken aback. So overall it's best if these games exist as a niche. It's just how things are. It's not like a politician would stand up to protect it.
it's the same like Trump saying "I like Erdogan". some things you just have to say for political reasons or make moves based on what your base wants from you. I'm not talking about the politics side of it, moreso how the creator seemingly gets affected from this rhetoric. We all heard the "video game violence leads to real life violence" bs for 1000 times. even studies disprove this notion.

even though i despise scalping but in this case i would've made an exception for the sake of SJW Wokeis tears, had you requested a batch of keys from steam before delisting it.... boy oh boy right now they would've been selling for thousands on keys retailers websites
