Are we surprised though? Creator of the game literally went.

Except it had nothing about rape anyway in the title nor the description....the dev didn't break any of Steam's rules and their moderation team approved it. The dev only pulled the game because of the "Karen's" and fear of doxing.
It didn't do anything to other games.
Why would anyone be angry at this dev? This dev didn't break ANY of Steam's rules, Steam's moderation team APPROVED the game and said it was FINE and okay by their standards.
As you said above, there are far worse games on Steam and they aren't even porn games

Look at the thumbnails of the other games that have rape.
Mostly RPGM games with cute-girl looking tough/cute as their cover. The adult content? You download it elsewhere and unzip into the game later on if you want to.
People KNOW what the game is when they see it... but because the advertisement is tame, there's little to no blowback.
Now look at how No Mercy is advertised on Steam...

true. that was a mistake for devs part (in a way, in another he was honest and didn't want to deceive people). and people perceive that game far worst as it is , because 90% of the people accuse the game did not actually play the game.

I haven't finished the game yet, but from what I remember there where sharing scenes.
Also keep in mind that some games don't have all the scenes in the gallery (especially one at the end of the game when most of the devs (
) rush the game.
