v1.03a is the final version anyway. They said they were working on DLC before all the secondary major shit went down, then a third thing with every account getting purged and they completely vanished for months. They just came back around a few weeks back to say they are finishing up the planned DLC (I think they said they lost the writing or they ghosted them, not sure) that they announced 6 months or so ago. But the DLC won't be the one they announced but just a smallish one that adds a few things.

This is completely inaccurate, particularly since Patreon also bans stepshit, and has done since the general ban on incest was implemented.

-Zerat's game is fully legal in the US.
-Verifiably false accusations were made in the media that the game contained: under-aged content, a sister character, explicit incest, and aggravated assault. Everyone who's played the game knows this isn't true.
-Monetary damages can be objectively proven, especially given the loss in sales after the game went viral, not to mention reputational damages to the existing subscriber base. And those are the damages we know about; there's an enormous possibility they faced doxxing and death threats.
We also have to consider possible suits against Steam/Patreon/Subscribestar, if they:
-Failed to pay Zerat sums already owed
-Damaged his reputation with customers, by refusing to distribute content they payed for
-Caved to spurious rumors, insofar as any prior contractual agreements offer protection in those regards
-Failed to do their due diligence in making sure the game was legal for sale outside the US, if they so offered it
In any case, one should note that Zerat can't change the website, yet it's still up. It's likely itself a piece of evidence.
Finally, we must consider if Zerat himself is in legal trouble. I find this unlikely as he's still posting, still making games, and the website hasn't been taken down. I do still worry about any collaborators outside the US.
And remember: The process is the punishment.
Why target this game when games like Rapelay, Playhome, Koikatsu, Brothel, Black M., Urge to Molest, Ravager and obviously Raptus exist? Why this game? lol

Better yet, how come this is villified, but kidnap-rape teenager literature is widely accepted? Teens these days are reading the goriest, dirtiest, most immoral stuff ever, but it's alright because it's a book, and books are seen as "socially acceptable" under the premise that "it's fantasy, you need to separate fantasy from reality". Why not do the same for VNs? I doubt anyone who plays this would bring harm to anyone IRL, and if they did, they'd do it regardless of playing these games or not. It's fantasy.
