There seems to be some consistency issues in the game - I'm not in a relationship with Darlene at all but still get the call from her telling me that since what happened the day before - don't come to work, also where is Emma his main love interest when he is in the hospital????

No sure about any bugs, but Emma definitely showed up at the hospital in my saves on her path.
Not with the whole family, only with some single members.
And I think it's unlikely the father will be invited...
Considering he's banged like half a dozen women, i think that ship has sailed.

An ending where you can be with several girls would be nice, I know that a harem with all of them would not fit the story well but for example being able to end up with Lisa and Lauren at the same time, to give an example.
I get error when trying to load my old save, any fix? I know others in here have had this issue after the new update but nobody has replied to either person
