I think I've said this at least 20 times across all platforms: I AM NOT SELLING THE GAME ON PATREON!
If someone wants to buy my game, they can do so on Steam for 10$/season 2 and 3—that's what I believe my game is worth.

Patreon is a crowdfunding platform that helps make development easier for me. My game is not worth $40/month—I’m not making GTA 6. However, some people want to support my work more than others, and as a reward, I’m offering them early access. It’s the least I can do to show my appreciation for their incredible support.

So if you don't agree with that, good for you

Peace and love,

I usually do a pretty good job at ignoring people who talk shit about me, but he got to me because he made it personal to my patrons with a post that got deleted. I don't care if someone doesn't enjoy my game. It's not for everybody, but I don't like it when they go after people who support me.

I don't think people understand what Patreon and those other sites are, you aren't buying anything. As you've said if you want to buy something and "own" it, then get it on Steam/Itch/GOG (well your game isn't on Itch/GOG), but then again, only on GOG are you actually "owning" something as you can download a DRM free offline installer, as with all those other 2 you are just acquiring a license. And as we've seen numerous times, they can claw it back.

Take Indiana Jones for instance when Humble Bumble mistakenly made it free, they clawed it back from everyone, even if you had it activated and in your library and even played it.

If this game gets a release on a different site than Steam as well some day (GOG, itch, zoom), consider me a definitive buyer. I don't like to feed Valve.

Nah, you got it wrong, thay makes it more romantic, they can get crazy whenever, but her first time is special, so do it in a place that is comfortable and familiar.

Plus at least we saw the penetration of the sister, we unfortunately didn't see that with the mom which was a letdown.

^ Ya, still early in the relationship, too as they just did it for the first time - hope to see a lot more good romantic development between MC & Tris. RC is doing a great job with this.

It's all about pacing with these types of relationships. Do 'em too quick and they jump the shark very fast and are a huge let-down. Let them develop at the right pace with some hurdles in the process where it takes some time and the milestones hit harder and stick with you afterward where you want to replay the game down the road.

I think I'm most curious to see if RC does a bro / sis relationship in a future game where there is a much bigger cast of characters - in NMM he is limited with reactionary scenes because the cast is so small, but in a bigger game world imagine what that might look like - think a game as big as "Being A DIK" or "Summer's Gone" where the MC and the sister would be around so many people, potentially at a school setting, work, home, around friends, etc. and trying to navigate that - there would be constant hurdles to deal with which can create a truckload of drama and entertainment, not to mention hot situations once things start developing.

Me too. Those were good times. But unfortunately the updates are way bigger now, the quality of the game improved and my health isn't what it used to be so I can no longer work for 18 hours/day. I have to limit myself to 10-12 hours.

Dude, I don't know if you're joking or not, but you should understand that with each update it becomes longer and better quality...
especially not to mention renders and animations...

every developer releases the initial release faster than it seems, because at that moment they are not under pressure and suddenly many people liked the game and want more content and a long story!

If you want, the developer could release monthly, but will you be happy with short updates? You can't please everyone...

Also with each update more play paths are to consider, which makes scripting and writing a lot more complex and of course more rendered scenes are necessary which one won't even see if he only follows one path. So to that person, it may seem to be a small update when it really isn't.
