For folks upset about the delay, remember if you aren't backing on Patreon, this is nothing to worry about because you're not paying anyway. :) I always encourage anyone who is impatient or gets frustrated about development delays, etc. just don't get on Patreon and wait for a Steam release to pay for the product (payment upon receipt like in a normal store for a product, etc.) if you like it and want more of it and that should help keep you relaxed.

Patreon is more for people who want to actively help the developer get a project completed since they generally need funding for the project (hardware, assets, etc.). I only back one project on Patreon currently (Summer's Gone), and it's a very low dollar amount. No More Money is probably my 2nd favorite game on this site just because of how well Jason is handling the mom / sis routes. I'd jump on his Patreon if he ever gets the music situation resolved - I can't tell you all how bummed out I was when the music had to get removed because Jason does such a great job selecting music that fits the scenes, and especially syncs with some of the animations (Tris blowjob scene, holy crap that was well-done before the music got zapped).

Well, people are invested in this game, paid or not, so they actually feel bad when Dev's delay updates again and again. It's only natural.

The music in this game is one of the huge reasons why I like this game. I even have some of the songs in my Spotify. It's unfortunate that he had to remove some songs. Couldn't he just buy the copyright of those songs.

I would love to have the list of those deleted songs

btw summer's gone is even more irregular when it comes to updates.

Yep I totally get how you feel. Just trying to put forth something positive to focus on that for folks who aren't on Patreon, it's not like they're out anything monetarily. Can always reward the Dev with money after they've had a chance to play it on an official platform like Steam - for the vast majority of games I play, that's where I buy them once I've checked them out here. Anytime I get to the end of the game and ask myself "do I want more of this?" that's when I buy if the answer is yes.

And yeah, Jason is one of the best developers on here in terms of selecting music to fit scenes. I'm honestly not sure if I've ever seen any do it better so far out of the games I've played. I hope he is able to find a way to re-incorporate music as the silent scenes are very noticeable.

Is there a petition we can sign to make him go back to work in this game part-time? :KEK:

I think he was way more regular when he had a full time job and only did this game part-time.
The episodes I was making before doing this full time were simpler.
They only had 2000-2500 lines of code, 250-350 renders and 5-15 animations (30 frames best case).
This episode has more than 5000 lines, around 1100 renders, 90 animations (120-960 frames). I have become more picky about my work so this is why it takes more time.
Only in January I have made 400+ renders and 22 animations.

And this isn't a kinetic novel which means it is even more work for the dev.
Doing different renders & stuff for different branches.

This is a great game with really good erotic build up.
It's worth waiting for.

I know you're a very hard working dev but pls either don't give any dates or if you are giving any date pls keep delays only to a few weeks.

You said you would release the update in Christmas and now your latest goal is to release on March. That's 3 months delay. You are an experienced dev so I'm sure you can figure out how many time each update will take.

Moving on, could you please list all the songs you deleted from the game?

Great game, thank you.
One suggestion: Don' t waste so much time on animations and increasing the number of it! You can deliver 3 or 4 long and best quality animations just for main girls.
Maybe you can poll it for your patreoners and here to see the result if you want!
(Again this is just my opinion and it's just suggestion you can ignore this post.)

Obviously he wants to make the best possible version his supporters deserve to have. And why shouldn't he?!
The impatience here on F95 is ridiculous. There are so many VN's/Games/etc. you can dive into here on F95, to kill time between update cycles.
You're asking him to take shortcuts just so you can fap more frequently to his Visual Novel...tztz

Plus, why are you angry! you can make a poll and see players prefer 3 4 animations with 25 30 seconds instead of 90+ animations with 5 6 seconds.

I'm not angry, why should i?! Don't lay to much emotion into written words on an international forum.
You stated your opinion and i stated my opinion about yours, since you did it publicly, i guess...

Hi guys,
Ever since I have started doing this episodes got bigger, but also the time between updates increased a lot. Initially I was releasing one update every month, then things got more complicated and slowly I have increased the time between updates.
First few episodes had like 250-350 renders and not more than 5-15 simple animations, but ever since I have started doing this as a full time job I got more picky with the work and I spend more time on each render/animation, I keep rewriting some events and so on. The episode I'm currently working on has 1100 renders, 90 animations and a whole more content.
I really like how the game is turning out and in my opinion the game got a whole lot better, but I want to know what is your opinion about this whole thing. Please be honest. I am not going to hold any grudge or what so ever. I just want to see where you guys are.
What do you think of the way I'm doing things and the time between updates?

Don't know if Jason wants to add our F95 votes into that poll or not since many of us are actually customers on Steam, just not on Patreon.

On the poll above, I'd vote for "I don't care how much time it takes".

I would like Jason to be mindful of the time and obviously not drag things out any longer than need be, but ultimately I always thought the chapters were too short prior to him doing this full time, so I do look forward to updates with more content like some other games (think Race of Life, etc.) and since this is the best bro / sis and son / mom AVN I have played to date I want it to be as good as possible, and for that to happen you need longer dialogue, more scenes to build the relationship, and to show fantastic intimacy scenes that have feeling to them.

Actually, anyone can join without having to patronize an artist, therefore you can vote on the page if you want.. (y) ;) (I did)

It's time for the Royal candy to expand his team
If you want to deliver updates frequently and a good then you need a good team don't hier full timer's just have part time and it will be good
Or else people will loose trust in you
It's alrer being 3 months sinces the last update
And the next update will probably release in late march
So it doesn't make any different when your working on the game as part time as then you use to give update monthly and it was 250 renders update
And try to make updates in parts if needed

Your even loosing l
Patreon every month to

Whoa, this update sounds like it's going to be well worth the wait ;)

The problem with hiring people is that people suck, if they don't deliver you lose time looking for new ones, and it's management workload instead of creative workload.

Setting up a game studio and making a game are two entirely different skills.

Plus as far as I remember dev tried to hire, but people didn't deliver and disappeared, so time was wasted
