Fuck it, a million times this.

I've seen so many people trying to act like Patreon is a store and they are paying for a product. They don't seem to be able to grasp that Patreon is more like a tip jar. You give creators money because you want to support them, nothing more.

I support the Dev's I give money too because I would like them to complete the game I enjoy playing.
I don't employ them to do it and just because I give them money as support.
It dosen't entitle me to tell they what to write, when to write or when to publish an update.
The Dev is free to stop working on the game if they wish too and If they do or I don't like their work rate.
Or their excuses I just move on.

Can we just focus on Charlotte please and forget the others...this was the fastest update ever.

Now we have to wait even more time for just snippet of Charlotte content, just focus on the main Li and lets get her pregnant. There's tons to unpack mentally and emotionally with her and the MC and working things out.

I don't understand why there needs to be 500 side characters who take the attention away from the main characters. Also MC just comes across as a slut wasting his sexual energy on randos, so whats the point of his love to Charlotte and Tris if he keeps doing that. The sex becomes meaningless, just focus all the energy in the main Li's and stop the side character BS, before the dev suddenly gets mental illness or some fake family member dies and they go into depression, dw they got a spreadhsheet full of these excuses lined up.

And sadly thinking they owe you something just becaue you support them is also Toxic.
There is accountability you just stop supporting them.
I have fortunately only ever stopped support on 2 Dev's and that because.
People that believe the owned the Dev with the support they paid.
Coerced, Browbeat Convinced and paid extra to the Dev's to change the games focus to their wants.
Which resulted in the Dev's seeming to lose interest and updates getting shorter and taking longer to make.
And the story quality taking a severe nose dive.

If someone is making a good product, giving them a couple of days before we pirate the update so that their subscribers get a little benefit works in our favor as pirates. It increases the chance that the developer will keep their subscribers, which means they are more likely make another update and another update after that and so on.

On the other hand, pirating everything and releasing it to the world the second it is released discourages good developers, which means that they will give us fewer good updates and new games to pirate in the future. I can't believe that people are so stupid that they don't understand this (actually, yes I can, people are pretty stupid).

Here's the thing: you don't become special badass internet pirate heroes by being short sighted and killing the goose that lays the golden egg for everyone, including you. We all want to pirate the loot, but we want to maximize the people making the good loot for us to pirate.

bah, I'm just shouting into the void. They aren't going to listen. Just needed to vent.
