Not sure if you got it fixed but i had this too, and i had to go back prior to Tris's scene in the bedroom, so just after Bea leaves, was able to load that and then i just rushed it to EP4 start quickly. Looks like the entire Tris scene at the end of EP3 got that error so just go prior to that and it should load at some point, might throw you a few slides behind from where you load depending on where you saved

I hope you're all doing well. I wanted to share some news that I received this past Saturday, which has had a big impact on my life and made me reconsider my priorities. After much thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to pause all activities related to RoyalCandy for the time being.
This wasn’t an easy choice for me, especially considering how much your support has meant in helping me live my dream of becoming a game developer and achieving financial stability. I’m incredibly grateful to you all for making that possible, and it’s tough to step away from something I’ve worked so hard on. But right now, this is the best decision I can make.
While I’ve always aimed to be open and honest with you, I can’t go into details about what’s going on personally. What I can do is pause all billings, so no one will be charged moving forward. It wouldn’t feel right to continue accepting payments without being able to deliver the work you expect, like some others might do in similar situations.
Thank you so much for the past seven years. It’s been an absolute pleasure being part of this community, and I’m deeply grateful for your support. I’m not sure when, or if, I’ll be back, but for now, I have to say goodbye.

I wish you luck Jason, my dad had a heart attack 3 days ago, so I can relate to sometimes you have to step away, because life is more important.
FUCK this was like one of the best plot games ever in this site, I wish all the strength to the creator and I do hope everything gets solved and eventually he can return to this game or even start anew.
Why does it feel like most of the better content creators are hit with strokes of unfortunate circumstances.
Bad karma for fans as well as for the devs. It always seems that the better or best stories/game devs wind up with unfortunate and usually life-altering situations. Some have even passed. Meanwhile, we get stuck with a bunch of Other devs who are milkers or lazy hacks, putting legitimate good ones under scammer microscopes when they do have issues. It is what it Is.

Step back and take a closer look, that applies to about all of life. The best always seem to get dealt the worst hands.

Onhold, hm not that surprising. Never believed that the game will be completed, at least we had some nice scenes with Charlotte and Tris (i didnt even believe we will ever get those). Was a nice ride, with overall too slow development, but... well, it is what it is. Another one bites the dust, for whatever reason, hopefully nothing too sad and just general life-changes that changes the priorities (like getting a child or so)
Romania is not 3rd world country buddy... really not. But well, living there is cheaper than in the US or germany for that matter... thats true.
There was probably going to be roughly another two years of development time to properly finish the game, was going to be roughly 8 to 10 episodes to series ending season 4, and a large ending. With the fan base (paid and otherwise) Royal Candy has / had, all he had to do was keep development going until the completion and would have had, what, another $120- 140K USD ( a real currency, not dollarettes like the CDN $ ) or more...no way did he bail because he's now "set for life". A real life event occured and hopefully he is able to get back to development when the time is right...
