Yep. I can live without it. Incest doesn't do anything for me so I voted #2. The biggest thing for me is:

a) Are the girls and lewd scenes hot?
b) Is the digital art competing with popular VNs?
c) Is the character writing good enough to make me give a shit about the characters

A decent story/setting is a bonus for me, but if it has those first three then it should be a good VN.

And that was also not the question anyway. The question is if he'd only get money from a "family oriented" game.

Hey guys,

After going through the poll results that I made last time, along with your comments and messages, I’ve come to a conclusion that I hope you’ll like.

Since you’ve all been so understanding about my situation, I think it’s only fair to give something back. So next week, I’ll be coming back to work and continuing development on No More Money. I plan to release a few more episodes, but I’ll be focusing mainly on the important parts of the story. I’ve decided to cut out some of the filler events, especially with characters that aren’t central to the plot or have . Also, I’ll be simplifying the endings a bit—not too much—but enough to wrap things up in a few updates without making it feel rushed.

Some of you have supported me from the very beginning, and it wouldn’t feel right to abandon the project or hand it off to someone else. I’ve put a lot into this game—time, money, effort—but so have you. So it’s only fair that I finish it properly, and then I’ll decide what comes next.

Just to clarify a few things about my situation: I’m not projecting myself onto the MC or weirdly relating to the game on a personal level. I can keep my personal life separate from the story. But when I started No More Money, I didn’t expect to end up resembling Erwin—a bit of a workaholic, with a wife I sometimes neglect because of work, and now two kids (a boy and a girl). That parallel hit a little too close to home. Still, the bigger issue has been around a certain fetish I’ve explored in the game. I’ve been feeling a lot of shame about that, and I know I need to make a change. It’s been a struggle for nearly two years, but I’ve made it this far—I can manage a few more months.

So, yeah, I’m getting back to work next week. The only hiccup is that, during my little “meltdown”, I ended up wiping my entire disk while trying to get some closure. So right now, I don’t have any of the No More Money project files. The good news is, I should still have all the characters, locations, and most of the game files on the machine I used for rendering animations, so I’m hopeful I will recover everything I need to keep going.
Unfortunately, a few events from the episode I had already written are probably lost. I really wish I could get those back, and I’m sorry about that.

I’ll keep you all updated, and thank you again for being so patient during these past three months—I really needed that time.

Just want all the family members scenes bcoz the they are main characters to the plot, the Dev mentioned that he lost few written events till which event he had completed before?

He is planning for simplied ending not sure what that means.

That's great news. Just one thing, since you used that word in the past: You are not "promoting" anything here, just serving some people's fantasies.
And people do distinguish between real life and a story. It's the taste of the forbidden fruit that makes such a story interesting, and yes: also the relationship development. But do people here fantasize about laying hands on their own sisters? ok, maybe some. But most probably would not even think of that. I for one really just see this as a spicy fantasy novel.

Just try to see it as a job, nothing more.

This is the right thing to do, i always believed that the answer was to suck it up and get it over the finish line vs abandoning it because suddenly you are not having a great time writing the story.

If you don't wanna put family stuff in future projects by all means... but first finish what you started.

I am glad it is going to finish, but slightly worried who the are characters getting cut.

It would feel weird to just leave Lisa and Lauren in a fight or limbo. I personally love Emma so I don't want her to be cut. Bea feels too connected to Tris. He sure ain't cutting the main 3 family members.

Shelia, Darlene, and Kartrina feel like the easiest cuts, which I would be Okay with, but hopefully he doesn't cut the the other ones, cause I have more attachment to them.

You may be correct, if he has lost all the files it would be take a while to get all back and get back to track or worse he might fully cancel this game all over again.

ngl i really dont expect much out of the new updates after reading this . for him to go this far means he really was disgusted with his own work . i just dont see him being able to make updates the same way as before.

Well, looks like we're not at the bottom anymore, but I wonder how close to the surface we're gonna reach. I kinda feel bad for Lisa & Lauren, as the next update was gonna focus on them, but now he'll probably skip that and beeline straight to the ending, mostly giving attention to Charlotte and Tris as the most popular characters. Still, beggars can't be choosers, and it's much better than losing the entire game.
Also, I hope he can stabilize his family situation so that developing the game isn't much of a problem for their life.
