I really want to believe that these are trolls. And if not, well, I'm afraid for humanity...Wow, three pieces of misinformation in one post. Respect.
Imagine feeling afraid for humanity for a post on a pirate porn site...I really want to believe that these are trolls. And if not, well, I'm afraid for humanity...
It all depends on the game on this site. There are games where you can meet quite smart people or people who tell their life stories based on the novel. And there are... well... this. And it is not clear whether they are trolling or seriousImagine feeling afraid for humanity for a post on a pirate porn site...sheesh

Who gives a shit unless you are a supporter...I'm getting a little tired of the developers telling us for various reasons that it's going to be delayed, and I'm wondering if next week's update report is going to tell us again that it's going to be delayed until next month.![]()
As a dev, I can approve of what you saying and I can drop in a bit of more insight since I'm working solo:I'm getting a little tired of the people who do not understand all the various things that need to be planned, written, rendered, animated, checked and rechecked prior to releasing the amazing product that is No More Money. The amount of branches and paths in the game based on the massive number of choices the game play has given so far, the super high quality the game consists of, and the fact that things do happen in real life to cause delays (dev was sick for almost a week). But hey, easier to rant and complain than to learn why and understand![]()
Thats not proofreading, that's rewriting! The author should always have to approve or reject any suggestions anyway, so at least you can ignore it if a proofreader tries that, which would be them "taking liberties" as you say. Changing whole lines is not something in a proofreader's remit (I'm a professional proofreader with over a decade's experience working with various publishers and independent authors, so I am talking from a position of knowledge on the subject!).3. Proofreading: This is probably the least stressing part because more often is done by someone else but it is stressing if the person who does the proofreading takes the liberty to change whole lines and with that giving a whole different meaning.
Go to his discord if he has one or on his patreon and say this... i'm sure his dev little heart will be full of warmthI'm getting a little tired of the people who do not understand all the various things that need to be planned, written, rendered, animated, checked and rechecked prior to releasing the amazing product that is No More Money. As a dev, I can approve of what you saying and I can drop in a bit of more insight since I'm working solo:
1. Scripting: People who have no idea how this work will say "Yeah, it's just a random stuff you put + filler events and there you go, you have a story." but in reality is not even close to that. You have to plan events, maintain consistency between branches (paths), keep a balance between realism and porn, write the events with consideration of your skills and assets availability. Testing and debugging when everything else is finished.
2. Rendering: How many times I have re-rendered images just because there was some hair clipping, some floating object that I forgot to placed it properly after the last scene or simply because of the original author messed up the asset and you have to redo the whole scene? How many times I have re-rendered the whole animation because it looks weird or not met my expectations?
3. Proofreading: This is probably the least stressing part because more often is done by someone else but it is stressing if the person who does the proofreading takes the liberty to change whole lines and with that giving a whole different meaning.
4. The work balance: This is probably the most important, even if you're not married or in relationship. I worked 12-16h per day every day for 4 years before I succumbed to depression and paused the project for a year. If you don't find your work balance, there's no escape, no matter how strong of a person you are, you will get burned and you will fall into depression.
But you know what's easy? Criticizing the developers who work hard on a pirate forum and wondering why they don't listen. Give an idea, it might be considered. Criticize and you won't be considered at all.
Sorry for the long ass post. Cheers
Preach brother, always support the developers of the games you love too folks! As a dev, I can approve of what you saying and I can drop in a bit of more insight since I'm working solo:

Just a few sentences regarding use of AI tools. If those can increase the speed the DEV can release the update, whether it's rendering of details, or background, or even dialogues i.e. story/scenario (if it will be of same quality as human work - the DEV can decide whether it's okay or if it needs tweaking), I dont see the reason why not to use it. It sure as hell can help when inspiration is at a road block. It could definitely reduce the workload from the DEV, so he could have more time for family life, and I honestly believe the updates for the game would be done faster with AI.You must be registered to see the links

AI-assisted rendering is a Choice made by the artists. Some may go for it but it's not as simple as doing so. If you've never worked with it, you have to learn all of the particulars to programming to get it done. Which takes time away from what you're doing orginally. Then there's the personal time factor. A lot of devs work jobs and doing AVNs is a side job or hobby. That's not taking into account that they may have spouses and kids to worry about as well as the myriad things entailed with having a family.Just a few sentences regarding use of AI tools. Yeah, Tris is gonna erupt, and not in a good wayThe update about to drop soon, just that I like triss being possessive and jealous about MC dating other girls even Emma even though she is his GF, but once she finds about Charlotte and Dennis that would be a epic reaction LOL
Yeah but charlotte is so mature not a posessive one she will understand down the line but definitely angry it might take a while, I'm more into the non lisa and Lauren path it's too much too handle just focused on other main LI's.Yeah, Tris is gonna erupt, and not in a good way.
I'm wondering about Charlotte's reaction more, however. I've already felt bad for her when she caught MC with Bea. Depending on her reaction to the Tris thing, I might not be able to go through with my manwhore run anymore. I really can't see my favourite (and by far at that) AVN mom sad.
On the more amusing side: on my manwhore run, the "nicest" girls of the game, Lisa and Bea, turned out to be the MC's doom, with Emma and Lauren catching him with the former, and Tris and Charlotte finding out about the latter.
