I played as realtor. update: just finished season 3.
right now I closed all the path except for Trish & Bea. Would like to close Lisa's too but seems like there isnt any chance to close her path yet. The story is much better now .
Anyway I love Tris.

NGL, Im a little bit worried about where the story is going. Dont get me wrong, I really enjoy writing and characters. But given how MC behaves (especially on a "working in a club" route), given how all the girls are somewhat a real characters, it is looking like story is going into a full on train wreck of a drama. I understand that MC did almost everything wrong and some ppl might say he really deserve bad ending. Like "I fucked up everything and now I'm out of here" bad.
But want to argue that that would be a little unfair. When I choose to work in a club, there were absolutely no signs that "hello, MC would act like a dick from now on and you have no say in it". Please,for the love of Jesus give my guy a redemption arc. Like, yeah, he is down to his ears in shit, but that doesnt mean he would treat his sister, his mother and all other women in his life as sluts inside his head. It is one thing to enjoy a little power play, and absolutely other to be a misogynist. I didn't sign up for this!
Maybe, that's the point of a story, for a player to feel this distinction, idk.
I will be okay with whatever, as long as author will give us a chance to save at least something in the end of all of it. Redemption arc can be hard, that's ok.
But let's be honest here, after a nice dramatic and thoughtful train wreck culmination we want that sweet, impossible, unrealistic gooner-heaven harem ending.

There's Zero Reason to treat ... any one ... so poorly ... as has been written (ghastly porn writing/acting sucks).
And Yeah, to go Full Frontal DuscheBag Chad to those he likes, is fond of or even.. cares for.

The Dev's not given' choice of demeanor to engender in simple monologue or rather conversation selection.
To be fair, Dev's set MC up for Failure big time by him having a current girlfriend at the very start.
Not always wise choice in many a VN.

There actually was a warning screen before the job choice, where the dev clearly said this decision would have a big impact on the MC’s development. So the shift in personality wasn’t random or out of nowhere, it was foreshadowed.

Also, the MC is very much a product of his environment. If you spend night after night working in a hostile club where drugs, shady deals, and exploitation are normal, it makes sense that his outlook would darken and his way of treating others (especially women) would change. That’s a realistic consequence of the path chosen.

And if the dev let the player pick “good boy” options every time a darker choice came up, then the MC wouldn’t really change at all. The whole warning screen about his development would end up meaningless. At that point, it would be better to just make a fixed plot instead of pretending there are impactful consequences.

Behavior modification is a bit strong but suits with story and exists for bad endings: happy bad boy with shady deals (Katrina route or prison or both). There will be a redemption ending, MC will helps the cops to shut down the club, I guess. Maybe a Denise ending where MC run away with her. Who knows? Keep calm and wait

For me the top 5 would be (with no particular order): 10, 4, 9 (mystery), 3 (sandbox - if there is enough content like Harem H), and 2. As long as good/interesting story plus likable characters.
