Hi guys,
How is everybody doing? I hope you all had an amazing weekend.
First of all, I want to explain why this Weekly Report is a bit delayed. This past week I focused on both posing and writing. At the start of the week, I finished posing all the renders for the events I had already written, then continued with writing.
Since on Friday I was working on a big event and didn’t want to lose the flow, I decided to keep writing over the weekend, and only this morning I finally managed to wrap that event up.
So, let’s just pretend today is Sunday. I’ll be taking the rest of the day off to relax a bit, and tomorrow I’ll jump back into work. I haven’t yet decided if I’ll pose the renders for the two events I’ve written this week or dive straight into writing. I’ll let you know what I decide in the next report.
There actually was a warning screen before the job choice, where the dev clearly said this decision would have a big impact on the MC’s development. So the shift in personality wasn’t random or out of nowhere, it was foreshadowed.
Also, the MC is very much a product of his environment. If you spend night after night working in a hostile club where drugs, shady deals, and exploitation are normal, it makes sense that his outlook would darken and his way of treating others (especially women) would change. That’s a realistic consequence of the path chosen.
And if the dev let the player pick “good boy” options every time a darker choice came up, then the MC wouldn’t really change at all. The whole warning screen about his development would end up meaningless. At that point, it would be better to just make a fixed plot instead of pretending there are impactful consequences.
Don't know where you're from or what all work You've done for how long.
Fiction the Dev has chosen for this title is just that, fiction.
People whom work in bad environments do not become Douchebags unless they are.
Some need only a nudge triggering whom they Are while others, just won't.
Regardless of their work environment but go find out for Yourself.
Some things in life we can not be spoon fed, it's just hearsay till seeing,
2 lovely pics
Charlotte kinda looks like she kicked out the MC but now misses him and wants him to comeback.
Tris... well she still found a way to spent time with her big bro
What a lovely mess, and this position... maybe some play time in the wrong hole is coming

Putting the names backwards in Charlotte's novel was a stupid idea. Even the default names made no sense, but then you get all the people who enter their own preferred name in place of Toby. So I have the character representing "me" call "Ynot", but at least that one is actually pronounceable!

This is actually a common thing with amateur writers. I've seen people change a letter in a name spell them backwards or something to extend. I think this is because they want the link between character and prototype to stay, otherwise they have hard time to write that character.
Wow, the MC has finally been caught in the act. I thought they'd gotten away with it after how daring they were, but the truth is, it was about time. The MC had been too careless. Keep it up, dev. This just keeps getting better.
