Yes there is, I think it's your friend who's name I can't remember. You need to talk to him.

And apparently yes, the MC can run if you double click instead.

I'd like to know if there are plans to be anything other than a douchebag MC. The premise of blackmailing people sounds quite interesting, but during most of the interactions between the MC and an NPC, your options are limited to:
a)behaving like a douchebag
b)behaving like an asshole

Is the MC on a mission to cockblock himself and alienate any other NPC? Can't he expand his circle of friends?
It's as if the MC was making every attempt possible to make everyone around him hate his guts, so that the ONLY option for him would be to blackmail EVERYONE around him.

Here are some sensible suggestions:

1) Don't be an ass to good people, or at least behave in a civil manner.
2) If you actually wan't to blackmail the shit out of people and succeed, you should be smarter about it, behave until someone actually lowers their guard and gives you the chance to get some blackmail material.
3) These types of games are about options, blackmailing shouldn't be the only way to accomplish the MC's goals.

On a more positive note, the fact that there's something fishy going on with his father is great, I'd enjoy using his lies to destroy him, helping the MC improve his situation in the process.

Looks good so far. The walking is not that much an issue imho but it might throw off immersion for those that are used to pure VN. Renders are good, but there is a serious lack of "action". As long as the dev does not wait 12 updates to introduce some fapping material I will follow this. So far it seems that it might become a good title to support.
