i have no idea but if you choose vannessa instead of Liz in the ending so as to it won't crash and have your ending with vannessa

Yes. With the patch the MC finds a paper in the landladies room that says he is her son who she gave up for adoption as a baby. If I remember right. Been a long time since I played and finished this one.
