Ren'Py No Such Luck [v0.5] [CSkin Games]

I'm not that far into the game yet, but I already enjoy it quite a bit. Bought it on Steam at release, but I've waited with playing it past the first freeroam until a walkthrough (either unofficial on Steam or an official one) was released, so recently I bought the official one. I must say how refreshing it is to (at least so far) not have a (best) friend in the main group that acts like a complete clown in a college game. Currently I'm at the last freeroam of Chapter 1 and out of the girls I've so far met, Molly is definitely my favorite. I think I'm going to try out her and the Alice/Molly paths first while I'm also building RP with Clara, at least until her path starts closing off other paths.

CSkin is generally very good at writing friends. His previous game also featured a very good example of a best friend who actually gave his MC good advice. Also, Alice is probably my favourite LI ever for friendship.

Yeah, after playing Being a DIK, Law School, College Kings and Reborn just to name a few, Henry is a breath of fresh air. He can still be pretty goofy, but not nearly as bad as the best friends in those games.

I have the previous game as well on Steam, although I didn't even know it was CSkin's previous game. But to be honest, I speedboosted that game with a guide after trying it out and not really getting into it at the start. I'm going to give that game a second try when I'm done with No Such Luck.

I also have a question: In chapter 4 we get the FanslyHub. In the walkthrough all of the girls we can subscribe to are mentioned, except for the most right one (a green haired girl with the accountname "AlwaysFresh"). I also don't see her in the Bios. Does that mean she has no effect at all in the game?

Nah, we have a very similar scene in Being a DIK while on a date with Sage.

I didn't try his previous game,but i m enjoying this one.Renders and writing is well done.

Way too many, lol. That's what you get if you play hundreds of AVNs (of which I bought about 200 on Steam).

I'm only on threads of games that I like however, and this game is one such game.

Alright, I've finished most of the routes I wanted to finish and unlocked all scenes. I'm currently working on a Alice & Felicity run now and after that going for all solo/single runs that give a unique ending for Ch5.

I must say, it didn't disappoint at all. Especially Mia's sex scenes are very hot, seeing how rough she likes to be treated. I also like how the ending of chapter 5 is done. I especially can't wait how Felicity catching Tyler with Shana will play out in ep 6, seeing how it gives Felicity -500 RP and even has its own Steam achievement

As I expected, for me Molly is best girl currently

True. You can especially see it if you play with the walkthrough. Some LI's are outright exclusive with eachother (like Shana and Jasmine or Clara and most LI's), and at end of current content most combinations of multiple LI's give a different negative RP depending on which combination you have. It ranges from only -1 RP to a whopping -500 RP. This really brings forward the realism that it hurts more or less if you "cheat" (even if you haven't used the BF/GF words yet) with someone they like, hate or don't really care about.

It's the same poker scene with Shana & Grace, but you need to be on shana path AND grace path. Grace won't leave and you will get a different scene

What are you talking about?

Apart from the scene with your girlfriend at the start (and a flashback later), nothing is forced. Every girl is optional. You decide the path you want to play.

He probably means that you have no options during the sex scenes. Then again, there are quite a few games that do that.
