FruityBatJosh: Considering they are repeatedly, and continually lying: Yes.
If they pull a "The dragons are coming!" akin to the parody in south park: I will keep calling them out on their bs.
They are straight up advertising something they cannot provide.
Which means that ANY new person that find any of said threads, will go "Oh, cool. I enjoy games with [insert tag] I will check it out!" and then realize they just wasted however X many minutes to hours on something that doesn't even contain the bare minimum of what was promised. It's like the douche nozzle that advertised Colonial Marines. And up to this day: Denies it is anything but a honest, perfect game with no flaws. Or a more recent example: Street Fighter: Was sold with single player on the box. It did not contain ANY single player. That would be added in like, 6 months.
So, call it what you wish. But when this game originally shat the bed due to the creators EXTREME incompetence. (AND: To be clear: This ONLY applies to the "female" version. The male version they somehow magically understand how to tag and advertise correctly. That one is a perfectly functional game. It only har some grammar errors here, along with there calling male characters for females. Without the characters even mention they are trans.) And to top that off, they didn't do it once not twice, but THRICE. And each time they are corrected by someone pointing out their errors, the creator only throws a tantrum and blocks anyone that doesn't rate it 5/5.
This is like... a game that offers you to play as like... Batman or Robin. Except if you pick Robin, you still play as Batman, but Robin is now with you as an AI companion. AND that advertises as being 2 player. Except it does that old-school of "play one life each", and still calls it "co-op split screen". And when confronted only goes "Well, that's OUR definition of co-op split screen!".
Same with games like ex: Panthea, that front and center claims to have "lesbians!" and it's even the games fucking banner. But then when push comes to shove: you play the ENTIRE, grindy ass game. To find out they have nothing but hyper dick porn. And that one, unfinished demo scene WAS the only lesbian on in the entire game. Plus: With an artist too lazy to finish drawing the female genital models. Which ALL could be solved if they were just honest and upfront that the game is exclusively about hyper dick worship. And a game without any choices that is just railroaded. As it has "choices" like a CoD game in that: You can choose to NOT shoot the enemies and never progress past level one.

Or TiTS, that offered 4 playable races from the start. Except 3 of them were male exclusive. And they've yet to this day fixed that. Just giving excuses for ~2 years, then switching to "we have to look forward, not backwards".
Or Highschool of Succubus that says you're a succubus. Except the creators definition of a "succubus" is a "shapeshifting incubus".
Or to use a similar example: Crowjob in Space. Where it offers you to play as: a dude, another dude, or: the girl. Except... the creator never created any scenes for the girl. So most NPC's just lamented about "If only you were a guy!". But: She made a *great* NPC if you played either of the dudes since you could then fuck her. (And yes, I am aware she had 1 unfinished scene. But that doesn't help the fact this is the SECOND time she is added to the Crowjob series, without any scenes.) The creator of that AT LEAST had the common decency to know when he was beat and removed her from the latest Crowjob series. Like, it started back when he removed the ability to commission female NPC's into the game since he couldn't do them properly, and made it male NPC exclusive for commissions. And in the latest version: He just stuck to male PC's. He didn't do like this jackass and refuse to admit defeat and make yet ANOTHER "female version" and added even more playable males.
If I'd sum up this game: It is along the lines of: If you play the male PC. You play Metal Gear Solid 5.
If you pick the fake, female PC: You play Metal Gear Survive.
And now, with the update: They have added free DLC content for 5 and removed the always online requirement. And for survive: They realize that giving the player a free save slot was too generous. So they went ahead and deleted that. Save slots are now 4'99. And if you want your save slot restored, it's 19,99. And xp gain has been halved.
And here you are essentially trying to argue that 4'99 isn't that bad.

And lets not forget: Commissions are the MAIN way that new characters are added. It's just that: If you pick a male character. You can choose to 1: Pick ANY species you want. 2: Pick ANY body type you want. 3: Choose if they become a PC or NPC. 4: Pick if they service, are serviced or mutual. But if you pick a female: 1: You are restricted to 1 body type. 2: You can't pick species freely. 3: They become a NPC for the male. 4: They service.
This wouldn't be as shit a deal, if the price actually varied. (That said: This is a VERY common practice to offer vastly inferior options for female characters. I mean, heck: "Incompetence is an art style" has become a saying.)
I'd like to say that: People would raise a stink if for example: There was a game called "Super Futa Adventure" or something, and when you played it, you found out after 30-60 minutes that the game contained 0 futa. And when asked, the dev just brushed it off with "I'll add it later." and each update included "I added some more futa scenes." but there was never any. Since they would all "be patched later". But... considering I've seen people purchase multiple "Futa Folio" art packs, that didn't contain a single futa, and no-one but me complained... I'm not confident in saying that there would be a ruckus over it... especially since there are games with the "futa" tag that has no futa. Or games that HAVE futa without the futa tag so... tagging here honestly feels messy. But: I CAN say that: If there's more fake updates to this or other games, I'll keep calling them out. That said: If you know of a way to add/remove tags from a thread: I'd appreciate that, as then I could just do that instead. And this would be solved for several incorrectly tagged games. It's not too much to ask to be able to trust what a game promises to offer.
