You may already know this but in HereSphere you can change to DirectPlayer in the User Settings. It made me install the K-Lite codec (it’ll give you a URL when you switch to it). Made some videos that ran like shit run perfectly.

I drop the speed to under 50% and it seems to run okay besides being slowed down, and the sound being wonky on some video players.
Has something to do with frameates I assume but I'm not a Computer Biologist.
How are you running Heresphere for 120fps files? I just smb the files in my hd to the headset with heresphere from the meta store.
I use HereSphere on Steam with PCVR, I get at least 90fps, I’d have to go check if it actually goes up to 120.
Idk if any headsets can actually fully get 8k 120fps, but even on lower resolutions and lower refresh rates it’s a VERY noticeable improvement. So much so I don’t even compare any other VR creator to Nodu.

I saw he was testing the cockpit view in VR (sorry, no Elma in the test). Maybe that means he's planning to make it a full release eventually?

Nodu is the only VR creator I know that puts out consistent bangers in both animation and video quality. Most other creators have awful encoding, awful bitrate, awful res, awful camera positioning, or low effort 2 second loops. DD and Project Vega are hit or miss because of this
HentaiVR somehow manages to have all of the above, and their 2 second loops looped for 3 minutes so you have shit video quality AND ridiculous file sizes
Nodu still has scale problems though. Easily noticable with passthrough. And yeah I get the complaints about loops, but even Nodu loops his scenes twice lol (with some small changes in regards to facial animation).
The thing is animating those scenes is one thing, but rendering them takes a lot of horse power. Some 1 minute scenes take 3-12 days (I've seen it all) just to render (depends on the complexity and shaders used etc.).

DDVR/BlobCG (true to life scale most of the time, no fixing needed at all)

Horny Herring Studios (older releases get fixed currently, past 5 releases have been stellar though)
WhyFuVR (not so good funscripts though)
ArawAraw (but only the 60 AI upscaled released)

HentaiVR is 90% and 10% okayish to good. Was able to fix some issues for some releases by reencoding and converting them for passthrough to fix scale issues, but they are known for just pumping out releases cause people in his Discord ask him to. Afaik he doesn't check things at all which is why most of his releases are borked and people don't speak up.
