So 2 questions about the game.
1. I assume the guy's remote work does nothing but pass the time. The only way to gain money is through the girl's streaming and sponsorship. Is that right?
2. Is there a guide for the best combinations of choices for the steam to make the most money? I tried various combinations and the results seems to be random or based on which game it is streaming.
Thanks.
1. Yes, so far MC's remote work is only useful to pass time and everything money-wise is gained through streaming and sponsorships. Concerns and ideas about MC being able to contribute to the joint funds and/or have funds of his own have been voiced to the dev before, but it's unclear when and if anything will be changed in that regard, so it'll stay like it is for a while i think.
2. Don't think anyone cared to figure the current streaming system thoroughly yet and usually people just rely on the sponsors once those roll out. The system itself is explained by dev in
this post (maybe it's better off being added to the OP as a guide), so you have this to go off if you feel like brainstorming on your own. Or even if you don't it'll likely require more or less the same amount of save scumming required whether to try and understand things or cheese it.
His profile says the dev's last activity was almost a week ago. Which could explain why he was late on the public build. Hopefully nothing's happened to the dev.
I think the first time around the downtime between the last F95 visits were 2 weeks, so this isn't really indicative of much. Actually dev was replying to someone's comment on itch just 2 days ago, so they should be fine.
I can only assume that their preferred platform to stay active on is discord and the rest in order of importance would probably be patreon, itch and then this forum. Last absence was explained and whether this one is an oversight/forgetfulness/being overwhelmed again or mix of these things remains to be seen. I don't know much about how patreon works in itself, but assuming previous update was set to go public on a timer then this case is definitely an oversight, which is a shame.
It's also weird that given dev's public activity 2 days ago one would think that the itch would receive the public 1.06 on time this time around, but it seems like it's getting the short end of the stick again.
I'm not really willing to go hard blaming the dev for being forgetful/neglectful or anything, but it is also definitely not a good look overall.
Got impatient waiting for v1.06 so I decided to support the dev and pay for it for you guys.
Now that this was processed as an update i got my (false) sense of security reinforced thank you for your service. And thanks for posting the changelog/text that goes along with the update.
If only patreon could have one thing that ci-en does and have the mechanic for locking only the important stuff behind the paywall, while leaving out the text for everyone to be seen, just so it would be easier to see what you pay for. One can dream...
Now THIS is the hidden sex that I want (the girl was fazing through the wall)
This might be addressed in the future updates, dev was only
made aware of this the day after he put up v1.06 on their patreon.
