Hello!

It is finally time. On Sunday the 10th of August 2025, Have Some Love, Chapter 3 of Not Going Back, will be released.

A year's hard work has gone into this chapter, and I am naturally incredibly proud of it. I am confident that if you have enjoyed the game so far, you will also enjoy chapter 3, as I feel like my skills are only improving, as we continue along this journey.

Coinciding with the release of chapter 3, I have decided at last to launch a Patreon page. I had considered this with the release of chapter 2, but ultimately decided against it, as I didn't feel as though I had 'earned' the right to ask for financial support for this project. Now, however, with the imminent release of chapter 3, I feel confident enough to launch this phase of the project. Now that we are a few years and a few chapters into things, you now hopefully have enough information to decide whether or not I and my project are something you want to consider supporting, and I am incredibly grateful to anyone who does.

I began theorizing this project in late 2021. This is a huge step for me. I hope you'll come along for the ride the rest of the way.

I will say the price jump between "Luxurius" and "Absurd" seems a bit steep, I feel like there could be a tier between those two.

This is valid. I'm probably going to change the highest tier price, I set it before realizing you can have limited amounts, so once I'm able to adjust it I'm going to. I set it unrealistically high to begin with because the tier reward is custom 4k images, which would take a fairly long time to produce, and I was concerned about how long they might take if a lot of people ended up on the patreon eventually.

Glad it is liked, I always feel like making a big stylistic change is a little risky but I also thought this hairstyle was better (mostly because it's a newer asset). But Mia was the first character I designed for the game, way back in 2021 when I first downloaded daz studio onto my old laptop to see how it worked, and the original hairstyle stuck around the whole way through until now, so for me it felt like a drastic change. Good to know it was probably the correct decision. (the old hairstyle might still pop up here and there, maybe, but this is going to be her main one for the forseeable)

It's not about the price itself. Given that custom renders are limited, €40 seems more or less standard. Keep in mind that setting it too low might mean you feel pressured to increase it in a few years (at least, that's what I've seen happen with other games over the years).

So, something like €40 for the custom renders, and perhaps an extra tier around €21.50 (like you have now) with perks similar to Luxurious such as a name in the credits (but in a separate section since they are higher tier) plus something extra that doesn't cost you much. For example, a specific Discord channel if you ever set one up.

This is just an idea, of course. If you're happy with your current setup, by all means stick with it.

This is a solid idea, thanks. I haven't used discord since ~2020 so I haven't set one up yet, but if there's enough interest in the future I will. And then slotting in the extra tier would make sense. Appreciate the advice

Definitely, a bad design decision can kill the appeal of a character but in this case you nailed it.

Good to know it was probably the correct decision.

As a fan of hers, I can definitely tell you it was the correct decision and the glasses add a little more appeal, it may be weird but there's just something about a girl with glasses that just gets me

Oddly enough, I'm generally the opposite, in that I'm not a fan of glasses or any sort usually. As you could probably tell from the fact that pretty much no other character ever wears any. But coupled with the new hairstyle I thought this was actually a really good look. You'll learn this in the chapter, but they're not an everyday addition. But she'll sometimes have them

Everything's set for release tomorrow, the last thing I need to do is finalize the names for the credits page, which is a Patreon perk (part of the $10 tier). IMPORTANT INFORMATION (for returning players) PLEASE READ: Old saves from ch1 and ch2 builds will not work with ch3. You will have to play from the beginning. I'm aware that this will be very disappointing/annoying for some people, but it was an unfortunate necessity. There were multiple reasons for this, but this is the only time that this will happen. From now on, saves compatibility won't be an issue. As a peace offering, I have added the ability to name saves to help those who do multiple paths keep track of everything. But I apologize if this inconveniences anyone.

soooooo tempted to play this update now. but I got another favorite that dropped this week and haven't touched it yet , and another game a dev put in a headpat for me. On top of still playing KCD 2 one of the few video games I find it hard to put down to play an AVN expect for before bed. haha

i'll probably be like 2 - 3 weeks behind all the regulars for this game haha

Yeah Honestly this is the first game im playing the moment I finish KCD 2 I think. I'm really only playing AVN's I like but don't care for before I beat KCD 2. Basically 30 min play sessions at a time lol. If it was just an update and I didn't have to replay it from the start id probably drop everything to play it. But I think gonna take me 3 - 5 to get through it since im doing all the branching paths lol and I typically don't play AVN's at a fast speed when at my PC.
