i really wish you didn't finish the game and kept going , i just feel like the game just started going there are much much rooms for mini arcs or storylines that you can do , and many people already love this game and consider it one of the best around here , i hope after this big update and with people support , you will change your mind and keep working on the game or make sequels with less characters and less paths with more focus and more content everyone will Love it , you are very talented dev

But what is there to expand on?

MC was unemployed at the start of the game, finds his true calling depending on how you play him and will have his new job at the end of the game. The game was never about how he would do his job, it was a goal.

MC starts single with past relationship issues and the bulk of the game is dating new and forming relationship. Once he has settled on a love interest (or none or several) and gets official together with them, the challenge was overcome.

It's not like it's new development that the game ends now. Dev mentioned the game to be 9-10 chapters long and considering the scope and structure of the game, it was clear that we were already past the halfway point, chapter 7 started to set up the finale. I'd like the final part to be one or half a chapter longer, but if there wasn't as much content to squeeze out and/or if it became overbearing, then wrapping it up within one chapter + epilogue is a pragmatic compromize.

I am glad this is back, but also sad this will be the last major update. I do hope for maybe some nice small epilogues, specifically with Emma and Deb.

I think the one thing I want most is the femdom Emma path to be shown love. It was the biggest letdown last update while the maledom Emma path got better treatment. So, I just really hope that path will get all the love it deserves cause that is my favorite path, and femdom being my fav kink. Please be good.

But yeah, glad to see a conclusion, but sad that it will inevitably be a bit rushed since I know a few more chapters were planned originally.

There is still lots of stuff in the skill tree which was never used, imo this game started amazing but went already kinda to shit with the last two updates where it was obvious that the dev cant be assed anymore for this game

Now there will be a last chapter and i imagine it will be similar underwhelming or worse than the last two chapters

That in addition with his weird low quality other game burned this dev for me, wont be subbing to him in the future

First couple of chapters, yes.
More recent, later chapters, no.

From a purely professional perspective, no, you're correct.

But from a relationship progression perspective, there's oodles of potential plotlines and story beats.

Well, look at it this way....

It's in a coma, on life support, and the intensive care unit only has one person on staff who may or may not be monitoring it and trying to see that it lives.

For all intents and purposes, it's dead. But that doesn't mean it might not just come out of a coma. I don't expect much if it does, but never say never.

Im not interested in that but in the end its like that with every single kink in the game.

We got a small tease of everything, which kinda made you believe / gave you the expectation to get more of it (and maybe a bit better) but in the end it was just that.

At the point were the setup was finally established (and the build up was good for the first ~5 chapters) the dev just dropped it and a rushed ending wont be able to fix that in any way.

Pretty well aware it's in a somewhat "back" state, but games that get put on a shelf in favor of other stuff (or for extended RL breaks) rarely come back with a surge. If it does, great - it'll be the outlier. I'm not going to get my hopes up, done that before with other titles that were backseated, and it rarely works out well. I'll still think of it as being on life support for the interim.

NiF was a game I liked, and was really disappointed to see receive the Abandoned tag (along with official shelving). Not gonna get my hopes up again - if it happens, it happens.
