This dev didn't even do basic quality assurance. I can't imagine anyone who actually cares enough about their product would have looked at this picture and said "Yeah, this is good."

We all know that AI produces some really messed up errors, that's not new. Even if the dev didn't want to take the time to figure out different LORA models and the technical knowledge to really get AI to turn out good consistent images...

At the very least, they could NOT include images like this. Just run the prompt again, see if the AI gets something better, and keep repeating that process until you get one that doesn't have obvious body horror.
Genuine question: aside from the tentacle boob girl, are there any other glaring issues? Cuz maybe i'm blind or smth but i don't see it

I still think its better than nothing. Not everyone who wants to make this kind of game has a budget for the good stuff. Between this, AI cg and AI translation we are going to see games from people that wouldn't have ever had a chance otherwise.
I could not disagree more. Still images look better than comically wobbling, stretching, sometimes outright breaking tits. Add to it the hilarity of it being AI cg that clearly wasn't vetted for more than 5 minutes tops and it's just downright lazy and trash. A tentacle is literally blending into the woman's breast in a preview image. They'd be better off without that """""animation""".

Speaking of, they removed the tentacle preview image. Even funnier that people probably had to call them out on it to have it taken down. They give zero fucks, yet, as with any porn game, they've managed to draw in people who care more than they do. You've proven, here and now, to care more about the game than the dev. Congrats, take over the project.

I see your point and i agree with you. AI animations with just movement are not "animations", but i think that is better than just a static picture. The time to create just one full animated picture is like x50 times more than just a AI "animation", and in that time i can make like 10 more pictures, with AI animations. It is simply preference, better animations or more content? I have chosen the second option.

I will fix that picture for sure, you're right, looks bad. But don't worry, is a alpha for something, has to have bad things.

One more thing, I like comments like yours, if you or someone see something more strange or bad, don't hesitate to comment!! :D
I'm on the side of 'do it right, or don't do it at all'. If you're going to do animation, put in the work to do good animation. But you're already taking the path of least resistance (read: work) with using AI to churn out the maximum amount of content with minimal effort. So you coming down on the 'lets put out a lot of 'content' regardless of quality' side of the equation totally tracks.

Also, it's not really a choice you can make. You're limited to however good the AI can do the work for you. It's a false choice if you're not capable of doing good animation anyways. Even then, I would say you're better off with no animation rather than distractingly bad animation; but that would require having both good taste and an artistic vision. Basically, you'd already need to care enough to be doing your own art anyways, so yeah...

Thank's you for the comment, i see that you didn't liked the game. Is fine, i just have the ilusion to make a game but not the talent to draw. So i use AI.

This is just a alpha, this take me just one month to complete, my first game. And yes, the tentacle girl is bad, at the time I just thought it didn't look bad at all, I would be tired that day and I wouldn't look closely, my fault. The people didn't like her so i probably will remove her. But all the other images are good, i like them. Especially the zombie girl.

But, bro, cash grab?
I'm literally gifting the game. In my patreon you can read that all my content even on twitter is for free. The link on patreon to game is public. If someone wants to join, i will be happy for that but is not my goal. Literally my patreon have the minimun possible 1$, and only one tier. I just created patreon to upload the game here on f95zone. Because I saw that it was a requirement to upload games. I didn't know if just Twitter would work.

Anyways, i understand that you didn't like it, I'm going to try hard to improve it, it would be great if you give it another try in a few months.
In that case, I'd like to give a few tips. I'll include examples in spoilers too. For reference, I am using an NovelAI build - you should be able to get BETTER and more consistent images off of newer AIs.

Tip 1: If you're not using the webui from huggingface, you should. It's complicated to set up, but once you manage it you have access to very good AIs directly on your computer, without any need to go online. That means you can much more easily pick and choose which to use, or have uncensored versions happy to generate whatever you need. The Webui also includes options for inpainting and using an image as a prompt, both of which are useful. Once it's set up properly, it should look like this:

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Tip 1.5: If you do use the webui above, although the default options work, I recommend the following:
-Set Sampling Steps to somewhere between 28-32. This strikes a good balance between the pictures taking ages to generate, and them looking like garbage
-CFG scale should be around 11. Too high and you get weird outlines on your images. Too low and they become incoherent.
-Width and Height can be played with, but I find that 640x640 gives the AI more room and that helps it place things correctly. If you change it, try reducing the other side by the same amount; the shape of the image will change what the AI tries to do. Images wider than they are tall will make it want to do a landscape, while images taller than they are wide will make it want to draw a portrait of one person. This is very useful!
-Generate in small batches while you're dialing in on the right tags to use, then swap to 3 batches of 3, or 4 batches of 4. Then select your best.

Tip 2: Use the Traditional Media tag. On it's own it doesn't do a whole lot - although images will look subtly better. Use the Traditional Media tag in addition with a type of medium normal art is done in. For example, watercolors, colored pencils, or charcoal. I'm a particularly big fan of Charcoal. Woodcuts, 3D, it all works though. Sometimes, not very well, but often, better than nothing at all. Here's a couple examples:

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Tip 3: Use whitelist, blacklist, AND emphasis.

Something a lot of AI sites don't make entirely obvious is how to whitelist, blacklist, and emphasize things. These are very useful for producing images that look legit.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

As you can see, the more emphasis, the more the AI tries to put it in, up to - and beyond - the point where it distorts the image. Meanwhile, de-emphasizing a tag makes it less prominent, and more subtle, until it goes away entirely.
You'll also notice I'm using stuff like "masterwork" and "best quality" in the whitelists, and I'm blacklisting common problems like "poor quality" or "missing fingers". Doing this helps keep the quality consistently mediocre instead of godawful.

I'm also doing large batches with tons of generations. It took almost an hour to make all the pics for this post, most of it waiting for generations. This will be you. The AI will NEVER consistently make high-quality generations every time, it's just not good enough yet. You need to spend the time generating trash so you can sift through and find the best stuff.

I encourage anyone else in this thread to look through the images and see if you have a preference towards media type. It might help the dev choose which he'll use.

Doublepost because the last one was getting quite long and this is unrelated to the topic that post was addressing

I really don't give a fuck about the game. If it becomes good fap material, so much the better, but if the dev continues to be lazy, I will only be slightly disappointed. I'm not staked in the game.

What I care about, and why I spent almost an hour making a post detailing how to use AI, is because I see the tides coming in and I want people to stop punching waves and start figuring out how to make use of the surge. AI art is here and it's here to stay, and people will use it whether you think it's theft through magic or not.

I want people to be educated on how to use AI because it'll make ALL the AI games better if people are generally familiar with how to use it. I want people to be educated on how AI generations are made because there's a load of misinformation and it results in some very shameful bullying by people who have been misinformed. I want people to understand Stable Diffusion because it WILL be used in more and more things and I don't want to live through a bunch of my generation getting old and crotchety and pretending like it's the source of all ills.

AI art is good, because it allows people of low skill to generate mediocre art they can use in creative projects. It lowers the barrier to entry. This is a good thing because it allows more masterpieces through. Yes, it also allows shit through, but the shit was already here. We should just try to have less shit in general. DAZ monstrosities and generic Koikatsu anime girls are stale too and generally reflect a lack of caring - low effort AI gens should be treated exactly the same because they are the same.

It's vital to keep up with the times. We're not Boomers, we shouldn't feel entitled to sticking in our ways and complaining to the kids. Be better than your fathers.

I won't pretend I like AI art and its rise. I actually hate it with a burning, fiery passion. However, I won't go into it either, because it's largely irrelevant. I'm not an idiot who will rage against the tide of inevitability. AI's here and it's here to stay. The reason I hate AI games is not because they use AI, but because they use it as a crutch. With AI, you can and should have more art in your game than any normal rival could ever hope given the constraints of paying for and creating real art. It gives people a massive leg up due to its ease of access relative to the time and cost of getting real art, even factoring in learning to use more complex models.

But we're yet to actually get that. People using AI art have, at best, used it to make similar amounts of art as what successful games have. At worst, we have...things like this. No quality control at all. Then we have the other slop that just has a single image of passable quality.

I'm not against people using it because I hate it. It's going to happen, and it can be used to make something neat. But 9/10 times, more realistically 9.999999/10 times, the people who do that have zero passion for the project and just want a quick buck, or are so immature to their core that it's simply the most they can and will ever be able to manage without a thorough shift in mindset. It is no coincidence that so, so many people using this shit are lazy, uncarring, and often times talentless people who serve a single purpose.

Making other creators look like fucking paragons of talent and creativity.

I have like 2gb of images in my pc, all with AI. I tried a LOT of AI pages, most are bad.
I tried hugging face too, not really good results, too simple.

When I was about to give up, I found yodayo, and it is much better, not perfect, than other sites. And with good quality-price (important obviously, I am not made of gold).
It also has images premade by the community, to create different scenes more easily, sex, blowjob, and more (it doesn't work perfectly, but better than nothing).

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

I use emphasis a lot in the prompts, it helps a lot to achieve specific things in images that perhaps the model is not capturing. It is really important.
I tried the same prompt as you, and as you see, the result is close to the images of the game. I think is not bad. You can make it nude too.

Simple poses are easy, headaches come when trying to create poses more complex than simply standing.

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

But in my opinion, negative prompts are questionably useful. The fact that you write "missing fingers" or "bad anatomy" does not mean that the images do not have those errors, in fact I would say that it is not even notable, since the images that give me those errors when I introduce those negative prompts do not begin to give me better results, the trend remains practically the same. Is useful for lowres, worst quality or blurry but not more.

Anyways, is good to see someone that likes AI too. As for the rest, we think the same, I hope more people understand AI, create games with AI, so we can learn and create better games.
Thank's for the tips anyways

what does NPC mean? is that a category?
Yeah, but maybe is just a style. A good way to enter the world of +18 game developer, because it does not require much effort.
Not complex story, not complex or difficult missions, just fuck them all.

Go to 4chan, go to the /vt/ board and go to the /vtai/ general (or /g/'s /sdg/), why? because 4chan is the birthplace of A1111 and comfyUI and im pretty sure anyone will learn a fuckton there, their generations are extraordinary, because they dont simply just put prompts in there, they use pose generation methods, always use inpainting when they can, and use regional prompting if they want to and much more. If one would want to take it seriously, one needs to go local (without using paid service) because these methods are almost only possible in local.

Other than that, i'm vouching for this game, its got a great potential, and also because the consideration of the dev to use live2D to animate which no one has done before in this site

I just have one question: Is there going to be any gameplay, or is this just going to be a walking gallery? I'm not going to be too harsh on you if you're just doing a walking gallery and the game format is just used for... immersion, I get there's a lot of fans of NPC games like that, but there's others that are a bit more involved as well.

I'm sure you don't need anyone to point out some menus, like options, not being in the same language as the rest of the game. Probably just defaulted to your computer's language settings. I'm also in camp no animation is better than bad animation, but I would settle comfortably for a toggle or a way to exit out of the animation early.

below this thread is a bunch of other NPC games being recommended.

basically though NPC (Non playable character) are those characters in video games that you talk to and when you talk to them again they just repeat their lines.

the idea of these games (for the most part) is to take advantage of these NPC's in a way you normally wouldn't in a regular video game.

basically just walk up to them and fuck them. no resistance, no awareness(depending on the game), no consequence.

the downside to this game is that there's also no dialogue describing a sex scene.

a part of me thinks dev should try some of the other NPC games to get an idea of it...but most of them are Machine translated so even then it might be difficult.

there are some games where they gain some awareness but that's only if you wanna go the extra mile.

I don't think it's fair to complain about AI art from a single (???) develop, although i would recommend (when it's possible) to maybe try and phase out AI art to one made by an actual artist for uhm... for multiple reasons.
Imo it's completely fair. Same way it's fair to complain when a dev uses store bought or free assets in their games and does the bare minimum and expect praise. If the game was well made and the art was place holder or it was tuned up after generation that'd be a different thing, but there's clearly no effort put into it. sorry.

I mean, the fact the same prompts give you images that look like the ones in the game is the problem, mate. The images in the game are not of very high quality. There's also the fact that you're using tokens to generate images - 2 gb of AI images is nothing, I'd have Terabytes if I wasn't religious about deleting all but the very best.

Mine is able to do lewds too, but that's not really the issue. It doesn't surprise me that you're having difficulty with non-standing lewds; The thing I was trying to emphasize was how to change the style of the image.

Look at this, it's bland and boring:

Compared to these:

The style makes a pretty significant difference, imo.

One thing I've noticed about online generators - and I do try to keep up - is that they're a lot more restrictive, particularly in which tags have effect. Every site is subtly different and most of them restrict tags that are... Questionable.

Did you use the huggingface UI, or did you use the huggingface AI, which is online? There is actually a difference, and it's very profound.

As you can see, I have little issue generating lewd pictures in which the girl isn't standing:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

I believe you may have used the wrong AI, and that's why it's difficult to replicate this sort of picture.
