Next Patreon update should release in a couple of days and the next public release should happen before the end of next month.
This is a minor update.
It only adds the items you strip from the Adventurer into your inventory. No new interactions.
No point paying for updates that add almost nothing to the game a.k.a. 0.0.# updates.
Makes sense, its a bit disappointing that nothing new got added for such a long time now.
i guess its like most "new" games here, it starts of really promising and then quickly fizzles out again.
Shame tho, i really liked this one
Dev says they have personal stuff going on and can't focus on development.
Unfortunately Patreon subscriptions are paid in exchange for content.
While I fully understand what "supporting an artist" is, there is no way to justify continuing a $5/month subscription if nothing is produced.
By the time a game is released in 1.0, you may have paid over $100 for an indie title. Math is just not mathing.
I will gladly subscribe when there is something tangible released.

That's why Patreon is about supporting the artist not paying for a game. If you only care about the product and not the artist then Patreon subscription is not really meant for you.
Agree, it makes sense.
And what if the artist is not artist-ing ? You skipped on that part.

He's been focused on The Adventurer and underlying inventory mechanics which I agree is not something exciting but necessary since it's supposed to be an RPG with companions and such.

If the artist is not artisting, you're free to remove your support. But it's nonsensical to try to push others not to support them. At worst they are simply casting away their money for nothing, which isn't your problem.
It is also nonsensical to imply I am doing something I am NOT doing.
Bros were asking for latest version, and since I am the one usually sharing them - I explained why this time I will not be sharing the latest version until more content comes out.
One universal rule: I am responsible for my words and for the intent of my words. The reader/listener is responsible for how they interpret it. If you take it wrong - it is not on me.

Gofile is free, has high speed, and while it has a daily quota (which is quite high), it doesn't have a monthly quota like Mega does. (and I think it's the same with Kraken). What's your point?

I've been using a Mega premium account for years. I got it, so I no longer have to worry about daily quotas, speed limits and other such bs.
And I chose mega, because back then there seemed to be a (justfied) effort to reduce the amount of bs hosts people tried to push here and Mega was the host that established itself as THE favorite and therefore, was recommended.
Unless that has policy has changed on F95, not adding Mega links is like refusing to offer paypal as a payment option as an online vendor. You're making things unnecessarily inconvenient.
Now make a wild guess if the other users here have Mega Premium?
That should answer your question why we also use other hosting sites.
I don't mind if people include OTHER hosting sites besides mega. That's not the issue.
I'm saying that uploaders should include mega, because it is one of the most popular hosting sites.
And if you think it's not, just search threads for "mega link, please". People always ask for mega links (not for Pixeldrain, f.ex.), so I'm certainly not the alone in this.
Jumping in here I love mega even tho I've never paid for it. It's fast as hell and I rarely encounter quota issues and when I do I just leave it running over night and it's done by morning I'm always disappointed when there isn't a mega link.
