The first part yes, the second is a personal opinion, so no.
Unpopular opinion I'm sure, but this is another one of those games where I don't actually care for the art style and wish they'd just used AI for the characters as well (I know, blasphemy).
Not sure what this particular one reminds me of, but I just don't care for any of the art styles that fall into what I can only describes the "intentionally crudely drawn/exaggerated" genre of cartoon art. Basically most western cartoons.
(It might just be the tumblr red noses though, I might be able to get past it if it weren't for that, the rest of the art style is passable)
