I like how many here say why they like NTR. And let me share: I like NTR sometimes...
I'll use an example: I am not a big fan of Power Vacuum for its story, but I do follow the game just for the small (but good) NTR content that it has. Don't know why, but I love seeing Sterling (the MC for those who don't know) watch his family members and friends get fucked by other people (people which are, for the purpose of the game, more ugly than him. And not even fiscally, just straight up personality wise... that kind of ugly).
But as OP said in the first post, I don't like the fantasy of getting cucked myself, and don't watch porn ideos on that "category", since I don't like real life infidelity. So that's why: I like NTR sometimes.

Personally there are currently a very few extremely specific scenarios in which I find ntr 100% acceptable... which is when in anime the original mc of an anime is a completely worthless spineless piss poor excuse of a man. Like the cowardly trash losers like Rito Yukki, Ichika from IS, Kazuya, Skunee Aino, ya know the joke of a man self imposed eternal perma-virgin losers that make all of us with actual man balls sick acting like lil sissy boys when surrounded by a grp of horny as hell thirsty hotties and the only thing they cananage to accomplish is shortness entire anime community just how pathetic they can be while insulting men everywhere simply by existing.

Actually, the answer is very simple. I like the NTR genre because we are free to position ourselves in anyone's perspective. If you don't like being hurt, you just need to think of yourself as the character who gets the woman. If you want to try a new perspective, you can put yourself in the character who gets NTRed.

It is the tension and ultimately gradual corruption process of the heroine that holds an appeal, it makes character more alive and interesting, and usually sex acts more kinky and depraved. I have found both games where mc wins over a girl and where he loses the girl and a bull wins a girl (the real) mc fun to play. But very few creators can truly develop such genre, outside of writing small/big dick and making a girl jump for a bigger one.

It's the same reason why you have no interest to play a game where a girl starts as depraved slut and you just watch mindless sex scenes. The whole pursuit, conquering, competition, character development is what drives the fun.

Also, another reason why I probably enjoyed some games in this genre, is probably my massive dick size, when you have large size, you cannot possibly associate yourself with a tiny one - usual portrait of a cuck in those games.
