Honestly, we've never heard of any rule stating that two developers are not allowed to comment in the dev thread of a game they're developing. We are just a couple of devs who joined and combined our skills to make even better games together. Could you please share a link to this rule in the guidelines?
We're simply sharing development information and news about the game, as we see genuine interest and engagement from the audience.
As for Patreon, we link it because it's one of the few ways for us to earn at least something. We are doing our absolute best to make high-quality games, but in reality we barely make any money from it. When you work hard on something for a long time and people don't appreciate it or support it in any way, motivation eventually starts to fade. That's just how it is for indie developers.

Use the forums search function once, please. It has already been shared by them here, but no Uploader or Mod has moved the Thread to the latest updates section yet or formatted it.
Why are you guys so quick to just whine.. Also, please name the rule where it states that they cant Advertise their Patreon on their own Devleopment Thread?
