only real fixes are lowering resolution, windowed mode, and shutting down background stuff. if it still chokes then yeah, nothing but hardware will help.

Not everyone has access to ebay, also I don't need the stress myself over the lottery of getting a second hand gpu without problems, planing to upgrade soon anyways with new parts, thanks. Doesn't change the fact that they are reducing lots of potential buyers with that kind of requirement. Although I doubt it's actually that high, I probably could play it with 1050 Ti, I'll give it a shot when I am available.
Even "upcoming" BF6 minimum requirement is Nvidia RTX 2060... I probably could find dozens of games with lower reqs with decent fidelity but you are just yapping with "I know better" mode on so I don't want to waste my time honestly.
I agree, my 10 yr old pc can render and run AAA games in the past which has better graphics than this game. Some devs nowadays just don't bother with the optimization anymore. Most people avoid the ripoff damage by delaying upgrade, not to mention all the generations came after Pascal were overpriced vram anemic garbage. But this is simply an unoptimized hot-mess. I reviewed the previews again and there are scan models with probably above 500k polygons in simple props like that couch, it's just a slob work but by all means continue your elitist know it all BS of yours. heh.
They are just lazy or unwilling to learn. It's so obvious even to a relatively new developer like me, unnecessarily high polygon counts in scan models, highly likely they didn't bother with retopology or decimate to optimize the meshes. It's just wasteful, performance hit with no benefit. No way this game should require 2070, stylized or anime style games are usually easy to work with and optimize. They take the easiest route but they don't clean up which is needed as a result of that route.
What a pathetic excuse, Miside runs perfectly and very accessible to low-end pc's and that game was developed by 2 people.
