Lol that's his job , although he does it for hobby or not still he is earning money and he has subscribers, there are many things he can say in the post, even though on vacation, like visted beach , about famous restaurant or slight info of place etc things , writing 3 to 5 sentences doesn't take too much time at all, if you paid for things and you never recieved them then how you feel its the same, he is doing business and engaging his customers is his job, I don't know about Nosy but your post show that you are really awful when its come to doing your work
You have to force it a bit, It didn't let me at first either but eventualy after a bit trying it will let you. I just do it as original form just reach a bit out of my screen and it annoying, also the pixels are better a bit smaller then original size.

I'm on Windows 11 but I think it works on 10 as well, if you double-click the top or bottom margin of the game window (when the cursor indicates horizontal resizing) after the game finishes loading and is on the main screen, it will auto-resize the window to fit your desktop. I always do that first thing when I open the game.

this probably depends on the "deal" of the patreon: monthly posts? weekly posts? break times? etc
asking for updates is of course within the rights of the subscribers who are shelling out hard-earned money monthly. still though, the dev did at least drop a notice on patreon about going on vacation, and, given that the dev is most likely European, there will probably be little to no updates during vacation time. in addition, a short break (not a multi-month hiatus) is probably something that other people are okay with.
if it's any consolation, the dev did indicate somewhere that it's gonna be a "working vacation" at some point and work will be done. that in itself is already a bit unusual for a vacation-mode Euro to do.
I'd rather him be silent than posting unrelated things.

sorry for only wanting to work to live, not live to work. What you're suggesting is for everyone to embrace all aspects of work. I only want to have to do anything related to my job description and not a single more.
But honestly I don't see why that would make me 'really awful when its come to doing my work' since I only brings up how Nosy might be away from his 'job' (in this case, developing this game), and hypothetical scenario in which Nosy is doing what you said, and not doing what you said. If pointing flaws in your arguments mean I'm 'really awful when its come to doing my work' then I'd rather be awful at doing my work than be good and ignore your flawed argument

Nosy is european. And we do take vacation time very seriously here. Depending of which country he's from it's more or less time at once, but yeah. Most of us wouldn't even drop out at work if Capital G, God asked us while on vacation to save the world, and that's regardless of being a salaryman or self employed.

Being French, we often see three weeks vacations during summer, especially in august. And as previously said, when on vacations, we don't, even remotely, talk about work. We only focus on enjoying our vacations like nothing else matters.

He can do many related things to , just poll battle, asking for public opinion about new update, engaging with his subs even though without posting any pics still he can make happy to his subscribers, these type act is enough to show that he is paying attention to subscribers
And subscribers could just respekt his vacations. Most of them them do. So stop making problems that do not exist.
For those interested Nosy just posted an update on his vacation on patreon.
First his vacations will last one more week. Then he mentioned that he is not happy with the content he put in 0.21 so he will have to redo it).
Unfortunately for him he couldn't get as much work that he wanted to do. He got a lot of distraction and an extremely bad internet (slow connection and extremely frequent disconnections).
As he said he spend 95% of his development time on only one feature. This feature will be a Timeline. You will be able to select an earlier point in the story. Which will allow you to return to important decision that put you on a specific path or even locked you out some event. He is even thinking to a way to be able to do this directly from the chat.
He worked on a few things too :
- the possibility to filter the gallery on the character you want (Liz, Sam...).
- the automatic unlock in the persistent gallery when a picture is posted on a sharespace.
- changes in leakeds chats that didn't make sense on certain paths...
- lot of bug fixing.

The funny thing is, his paying supporters are far more relaxed about his vacation than the non-paying crowd.
Yh the non paying people are always the most spoiled and requiring of the devs idk why

No way. Devs are developing thighs by pressing some fancy buttons, then press big fancy button and tech Miracle happen. I saw this in Evangelion. Absolutely true story.
