Well if he said that the update was "meh" for him, then it wasn't good. Is it good that he delayed it again? Yeah. But it feels like he needs more stabilisation and to replay his game all the time, not only at the end, because it will make his projects delayed even more in the future
even before ver0.19, they always had delays, most of the time it never reach 1 week mark delay.
so when they release estimate release date/time, i always expect 2 -3 days delay.
it is nothing burger (imo). and they always deliver minimum one update per month. (last month is the exception as they went on vacation as they stated in the patreon post).
unless they started to show some sketchy sign which i havent see, i think nothing is out of ordinary, the delay is a common occasion.
Yeah, so far the Dev was consistent and honestly, if even the Dev says the Update was "meh" and they wanted some last minute changes, I am all for it. I can wait a few days when I get a better Update.

Are you kidding? Update 0.19 was released 4 months ago. Even if we don't count vacation time, it isn't anything like "one update per month"

huh, no. closer to 3 month actually. 0.19 was released the 2 of june.
The 8 july was the release for the 20.2 then he kept working on that version for two weeks since the 20.5 was release the 17 july.
From there he went on a vacation from the 31 july to the 24 of august and only really got back working on the game in the following week. Getting back in the swing of things the 1er september.
So, the game ain't takin any longer to update than usual. heck even the delay isn't the longest we got nor unusual.

Tbh, a lot of people here complaining about the delays but I won't lie, I'll take a delay any day and have a great update with a SATISFIED creator than no delay and some bugs or a creator that doesn't like his own game
So let's be real and wait next month for the almost best update (Nosy got me real bad with all his teaser about 0.22 ahah)

Well simple answer bug fixes on May 14 update came and bug fixes started from 21 may and on 1 june the final bug fix came

Bug fixes do not change the fact, that update came out on May 14. Moreover, it wasn't a bug fix. In v0.19 dev didn't manage to get rid of all bugs in time and he separated love route for later release
So it's normal about delay.I always thought update become slower after later version before.hehe
in this particular case and dev, it is normal. at least the delay are always "short".
maybe just because i know too much vn or game in this site that kept getting
1. update around the corner
2. then turn to delayed for weeks,
3. then turn to months
4. and then just went complete silent for year
(atem for example lmao)
that i really tolerate this constant one week delay each update LOL.
Has anyone encountered such a problem? There is a black screen on the stats screen, and a gap has appeared in version 20.0. I have tried installing both 20.2 and 20.5, but the problem persists. Furthermore, my wife doesn't have these problems on her phone; she plays without any issues.

I'm no troubleshooter but have you tried deleting / temporarely removing the core files in appdata? It could be something as simple as some corruption there. And in any case purging everything (but keep a copy of your saves) before redownloading the game from scratch might be a good idea.

Thank you, yes. I tried deleting all game files and re-installing them. I also tried deleting saves completely and starting from the beginning. The same problem occurred. I then tried downloading my wife's save file to my own and there was a black screen with just some outlines of a character on subsequent pages. Yes, it is much more fun to play games together than alone.
