Agree. But my reasons is I like gangbang content. The female characters have 2 holes (or 3 holes if you including the mouth) that can be used during the act, so 1 female character can potentially interact with 3 dicks or more.

The reason it’s not as popular as other games is that it’s too genuine of an NTR game.
A lot of people don’t actually want honest, gradual NTR but fast-food NTR.
I hate using the term, but "NTR tourists" are a very real thing.

They love the taboo idea of NTR more than how well it’s actually implemented.
And they are averse to reading if it’s not dialog that advances the H. That’s why RPG Makers and animated games are always trending over traditional VNs.
I’ve seen some really amazing takes like "NTR Phone" and "NTR Legend" being called masterpieces of the genre.

The attention spans of modern H-gamers are truly lamentable.

You also have to consider the average audience of NTR- Gooners. Most people want to fap without overthinking. Maybe some want spicy feelings accompanying the fap, but most aren't looking for some deep characterization or portrayal of NTR. For many, NTR is just another brand and/or fetish. No different from vanilla, tentacles, etc.

The rare few who do would just read an adult novel with adultery instead where story usually takes precedence over erotica.

The demands of modern H-gamers I'd argue have never changed. There are simply more of them. And the majority of those, just like any form of entertainment, primarily consist of casuals. Casuals not looking for mind-blowing or genre defining works that advance the medium, but "good enough" works that let them wank without much effort.

Devs aiming to make a game that fully takes advantage of the NTR genre will have to take solace with the fact that they are developing something for a niche audience of an already niche genre.

When I first played Curse of Kubel, I approached it as just another typical corruption FMC game, and at the time, I didn't understand what made it special. However, replaying it two years later completely blew my mind. Curse of Kubel is a sandbox game that meticulously hones in on mechanics serving its core theme—which is why it initially feels more constrained and less free compared to a standard sanbox FMC game. But in reality, it executes nearly every mechanic it introduces flawlessly: the town's gossip about the female protagonist, the detailed corruption menu tracking her psychological shifts after each encounter with the villain, the dungeon harassment system that masterfully evokes that guilty yet thrilling tension in the player,.... Finally, in my opinion, this game did everything it needed to excel purely as an FMC NTR experience.

At the risk of my non-existent reputation, I'm going to put out an opinion that will probably have 90 percent of people roast my ass.

NTR games with only one partner/bull are mid. Most of them end up sounding like the average female drama where another guy sweeps them off their feet with their money, looks, or status. Except you're in the position of the poor shmuck who watches it happen rather than the female lead who is portraying it as a fairy tale.

NTR with multiple partners is the true debauchery.

I agree. A lot of people hate multiple corruptors, they sounds kinda like vanilla lovers in that regard. Its a tough battle trying to push for henteria chronicles to not have the heroines be spoken for with only their corruptors. Thats just not full corruption for me. But people get very defensive with that and I swear they sound just like the people that push against ntr at every step in these threads.

It's true that now this days we can't find to many good ntr.
But to call "The Curse of Kubel" that is only in fmc on of the best tier-top ntr it's insult to other good games.

I really hate only "pixel sex" type like NTR Legend, even if have best story ever in 2025 without any graphic it would be feeling incomplete.

Call me old man but the best ntr I ever played was the vn that was around 2008-2018...it was like a gold age from japan...now these days it's just shallows vn without any good developing between characters, no more drama, no more taboo.
Usually the best game from ntr is when have the more unacceptable situation from society the more intrigue to play the game...something new, unexpected or twist story...well pace storyline with slow-corruption let the story first catch you then bam tragedy happens.

Like the last game I played It was good feeling like other old vn and unexpected rpgm I was surprise to see how good is "Sanctuary of Promises and Contracts" first stage grown relationship between characters, second stage mystery ntr slowly the heroine get corruption without mc realised what happens and final stage unwrap the story & the outcome of the events...just a perfect game if the dev add voice in would be 10/10...It remind me of another masterpiece "Boku no Kanojo wa Gatenkei".

I wish the ntr genre have some solid story standard and not a just fuck mindless monkey characters...many recently ntr was mediocre and waste of time atleast the ntr tag on f95 it's awful as always reviews with 5/5 on shitty futa, gay, fmc ntr games.

This is why I much prefer NTR with only one antagonist where the heroine really fall not only for sex but also in love for the antagonist. You still like the heroine, but she has chosen another person and it feels like she was really stolen from you, instead of her just going into crazy sex mode whenever she see anyone but you in the street in multi-protag NTR where I just feel like "wow, she like sex" and don't really feel anything since the heroine wasn't really in love with you to begin with.

Have you played "Sayoko ~ The Summer I Wished Upon a Star"? I can't honestly say it's one of the best NTRs I've ever tried or anything, but fuck me if I say it didn't get to me after many hours of playing. Truly one of the few slice-of-life experiences out there.

Guess I'll just have to simply explain why fmc ntr is ntr. This time with a good and simple logic behind it. Just go watch JAV ntrs. It's 80% focused in female pov. It's also hidden ntr most of the time. Unrealistic , a bit rapey sometimes, but it still hooks a lot of people. Now apply that to an ntr game. That's pretty much it really.

And it's not exactly cheating (depending on the game) , as theyre mostly blackmailed, forced , hypnotized, corrupted and the like.

What's funny is, I got through the intro of the game, and quit once things actually got spicy. The reason being that Kagura's translation didn't have functioning fucking text wrapping during sex scenes (for the bits of flavour text iirc) and I HATE missing out on words lmfao.

I don't know if that issue is fixed now (it probably is), but I don't think I will play Kubel anytime soon. Back then I was still discovering the different aspects of NTR I liked, and now I have pretty solid tastes in NTR - exclusively female protagonist NTR is something I do not care for unfortunately.

I want to like kubel, it has a really good idea on how it works. It's just a lot too easy for me. I want the heroine to actually be forced into it. NTR games where NTR is easy to avoid just takes me out of the immersion because now I have to deliberately choose it.

Worst possible example, it just shows that NTR + FMC are bad, JAVs are horrible in history and especially those of NTR.
Gyu must be the kings of the NTR then... I'm not 100% against FMC NTR, but it only works when you also play as the cuck a bit, or in some part, there's no NTR when it's you yourself making her cheat, it's no fun, mainly because you're watching everything, it already takes away the mystery that is another fundamental part.
