Netorase skyrocketed lately. It’s not my cup of tea always but wish there was a seperate tag for it
While I’m still roughing out the design and prototyping and getting used to UE5 alongside waiting for some assets to be updated to it. The setting is a bit more medieval with a bit of fantasy mixed up to make some things easier. The story introduction isn’t final but will probably go something like retiring from being an adventurer or finishing study/internship character starts working in their professional field. It will be more of a profession/business simulator.
Primarily the profession will be the primary gameplay loop which will include multiple professions which I’m aware won’t fit a lot of players however can’t satisfy everyone. That aside romance/sexual content would be NPCs not really starting with any defined relationships (aside from maybe some NPCs that have families) then it could go either way thus sandbox.
Over time NPCs would form relationships that wouldn’t be predetermined while the one predetermined thing would be personalities which would influence their decisions alongside whatever they will be able to cheat on partner etc.
The game would be set in an open world which I would populate over time undecided yet whatever I should also include a TPS camera since FPS makes it most immersive.
That would be the shortest way of describing it based on what I’m ready to reveal so far.

I do feel there is a difference between just plain cheating and ntr tag when fem protagonist is involved. In some games, the cheating is the focus, where the husband or fiancee is oblivious. Like watching tv while the female protagonist is getting railed in the kitchen etc. Then it scratches the ntr itch even when it is not male protagonist.
Then you have game where it is just mentioned that there is a LI of female mc that "exists" and that is all we get. Then I think just plain cheating is in place.

I found another great Japanese NTR game that seems not to be mentioned here -
Basically, a sister of the MC owes some money and ask the wife of the MC to help her get it. Excellent pictures, a few branches, a very attractive wife. Good game, not hardcore enough for my taste, but to each his own.

You and everyone else. It would be so easy to add a Netorase tag, but the admin/mods seem completely deaf to good ideas.

Nah, is not all the devs, is also the people because there are a lot that treat netorase as NTR, hell some behave like they are trying to usurp the term to erase real ntr
And that would be solved adding a new entry to the database named as "NTRS", thats it, all they have to do but refuse to for some weird reason

I mean that people will still put ntr because they are lazy or want to maliciously overwrite the meaning with their own (mostly because they dislike real ntr)

Damn I could never fully get into these western NTR cgs. I’m surprised at how saturated they are. Only a couple Ive played where the cg was impressive imo
