Just ended up here over time. From sites like Exhentai, I discovered I liked ugly bastards, and from there I started seeing the netorare tag had the stuff I liked the best. Game wise that's pretty recent for me. Many years ago I hapened to played the Flash NTR game for Familiar of Zero. And last year I was bored and remembered it after rewatching the whole anime series, and I went lookin for it, I found it here. And next thing I know it's been several months and my hard drive has every NTR found here on it, lol.

For example, many female protag games go with you lose you get the scene or do this puzzle and get this scene, and it's just not fun. Don't get me wrong I still play those kind of games (selectively of course) but when I noticed ntr adds spice to the game, I just start focusing on those genres more than others.

There's been a lot of lazy producers cashing out from the surge in demand for the ntr niche. Like woah, my slutty wife is off on her own again. What can she possibly be doing hmmm. It might as well be vanilla since the producers usually don't bother giving you a reason to care about the characters getting ntr'd.

I do agree that most ntr is enjoyable from a 3rd party perspective like watching a train wreck. However the ones that go above and beyond manages to squeeze some empathy out of the viewer in order to twist the knife further. Not quite self insert but something like if it happened to a friend. I recently read the webtoon Loser and it had an interesting premise where a good girl fell into a life of prostitution but over the span of the start of the webtoon was on the verge of being redeemed. The villain was comically evil which was funny as well. It was almost edging in a way where she's always on the verge of being saved only to fall back down.

I mean when I first discovered ntr, it was on hentai manga sites like nhentai, purinin?, and tsumino?(these sites got filter system so I use them), and even when I loathe ntr at that time, the comment section of ntr haters actually make me feel disgusted and creeped out.
