I quite like Inoda as an antagonist.

There is a fuck-boy (I'd call him Chad, but he drugs women, so he's def not) who ends up fucking Kiritos sister, and I don't think he'd be nearly as effective as the bad guy for Asuna. The reason Inoda is so effective is because of just how fucking pathetic he is. Kirito is supposed to be the powerful gamer who got the girl, who won, and all of a sudden this nerdy human turd of a guy appears out of nowhere as his neighbor and starts taking what was his. It makes for great NTR.

Not to mention Asunas pride. A bully type figure wouldn't meld well with her, because she both hates bullies and is an extremely prideful person. Forceful charms would be ineffective. Instead of a clash of personalities, one which Kirito would certainly notice, (as well Asa relationship he'd be weary of, seeing his girl with this muscled guy), we see a more underhanded side.
