I love NTR outside of porn (not IRL) because it's the most unexpected and it makes my heart ache because I actually feel for the characters.
However, I hate it when it's done half-heartedly or jokingly, like that one Trapper manga, or "Isekai'd as the blonde tanned guy".
I can't remember the last time I found one I liked outside of porn, though, except for that one RR story I came across through Discord.

well, while i agree to a certain extent but not all people the same. For example, i do like ntr when i cuck others but i just can't play games where i get cucked

Don't replace yourself with the characters you're not them, just observe it from the outside as a reader. I personally don't care who is cheating (betraying) who and usually come for the hot corruption scenes, of which NTR has the most in my personal experience.

its psychological thing, different people have different views in their life. I don't attach myself to MC in that kinds of game but still have unpleasant feeling . Though when i read some ntr it feels completely ok(if we take some kind of manga, whatever). Simple example, when men play games they usually pick man character, women pick woman character. Some men cannot play for women character and visa verse and it's completely normal.
If we put that aside, that's true that sometimes i position myself as MC. It just helps to feel more attached to the story and to feel more emotions but i have this feeling more about books rather than games and i don't tell that it's totally right thing to do so but we have what we do have)
yeah that's true, almost always I choose female character in games (like, console games and such) bc I want to feel more immersed (I want to see the ass physics)

Well it depends on the story and in most cases the MC is at fault himself and it helps not to sympathize too much.
I understand that you're talking about escapism, but personally I don't think escapism in porn stories is healthy though.
I think it's different when you're trying to roleplay in some RPG to maximize immersion and another thing when you try to escape problems of the reality by self-inserting yourself as an MC in some kind of isekai harem.
These are the kind of people, who dislike NTR the most btw. Since it's "them" who have been cucked and hurt, snapping back to reality

Yea, im not your mom. If you see yourself as the main character of the game it makes sense you want Netori and not Netorare. If you ant Netorase I would guess you probably self insert and what that feeling of being emasculated.
I would think its the same thing for non porn games where some people want to play as the big muscled out gigachad, and others want to play as a hot girl. I don't self insert so I like playing girls. Nothin wrong with self inserting and wanting to play a dude. Just a different mindset.

It's really just a preference. Most people think liking NTR instantly means you're a cuck. I've never self-insert myself but in my case, I learned to like NTR simply because the girls are drawn hotter than your generic vanilla. The only times I hate NTR is when they keep adding mind control which is really stupid imo, it's not even NTR anymore that's just rape with extra steps. Or the girl instantly becomes a slut at day 1 it becomes prostitution than NTR. I prefer mine when its slow corruption or mystery.
I've been meaning to ask, is there any Mystery NTR game with this premise? A male MC game where the female LI/heroine is actually a full-on casual adulterer behind the scenes from day 1 (also perhaps through day negative something, meaning she was that way before the game's story even took place), and the MC is none the wiser up until he finally learns all about it restrospectively?
Maybe this is a weird request, but i always largely dislike the corruption element of the typical Netorare plots, since i usually will either find the male villain's mannerisms unbearably cringeworthy, or would end up deeply pitying the heroine. I'd prefer a plot where a by-default debacuhed couple's pretentious romance crash and burn due to the girl's clearly self-initiated clandestine adulterous escapades being unveiled/getting out of hand. I want to see the male MC being extensively lied to by the two-faced heroine, who just casually go behind his back. Not outright Netorase tho, since i want to see the male MC being distraught. I guess i don't mind if there is a (lousy) netorase ending or something.
The only game i know (from the not-so-many i played) whose storyline best (albeit still only loosely) fits the bill is the now-abandoned Girlfriend Tapes by BootyProfessor.
Bonus points if male MC is a semi-unlikeable wannabe womanizer, and the female LI/heroine is twisted enough to never show any semblance of guilt.
EDIT: more bonus points if the affairs involve multiple casual partners and a plethora of mix n match group encounters. Not a boring "suddenly monogamous to Mr. Alpha" schtick. Maybe with elements of the female peers being "in on it" mixed in. The full package.
Also, no marriage/divorce element if possible. Despite my seemingly dark fantasies, i actually respect the sanctity of marriage.

there is a game I really liked a LOT named "Sodora city"... It's real porn and RPGM. It has some problems though... If you decide to try it, read the review I did of the game (in the review part of the thread of the game) where I mention how to solve some problems the game has (Like freezing and such... Avoid the spoilers)

You're lucky, at least you know that it's still being worked on, or at least that the dev is still around, i'd give anything to see a post that says that THIS game got delayed, at least then i'd know that there's still a chance that i'll play it someday.
Dev said that he wants to release the game in April and then went radio silent on the 24th of March...

Hey, appreciate the reply. I have read your review, and i too am rather repulsed by the chastity cage thing. Not a fan of overt (verbal & physical) humiliation-play in general, but i suppose Netorare itself can be seen as largely a form of covert humiliation. Though i indeed find some of the scenarios you described quite arousing. Particularly the heroine's faux-concern about the MC's feelings.
Though i guess i must admit that i still value visuals more than i let on with my meticulous plot preferences and all. I'm not really feeling the game's CGs, at least from what i can see in the previews. I do not mind the RPGM gameplay though, as i played HC series and SORAUE's work too. I'll probably give it a try some time, but i doubt it'll be my first choice.
